I bought a Yeti 150 years ago and I was good about charging it and discharging it. I stopped doing that and the battery was no longer able to hold a charge. As long as it was plugged in there wasn’t any beeping. Once I unplugged it, then it would beep. I put it in the garage because I figured it would beep for a few hours or less, then turn off. It has been over 12 hours and it is still beeping. Not only do they make it beep for hours, but about every 6 seconds. When it is quiet in my house I am able to hear the beeping every six seconds. I will never buy any Goal Zero stuff again. February 2 It is around 6am CST and it is still beeping. Over 24 hours and it is still beeping. I bet if they were to make the battery beep less, then it still would probably be working. It is extremely annoying. I put it in the garage and covered it to help muffle the sound, which helped, but I hear it when I am in the kitchen and if it is very quiet in my room. 2/19/26 I have been speaking with Maurice from Goal Zero and he has told me how I can replace the battery. I have ordered a new battery and will install it, so I will at least be able to use it again.

Thanks for taking the time to share your experience, and we’re sorry for the frustration this caused. The beeping you heard is the unit indicating that the internal battery voltage had dropped too low and the battery had reached end-of-life — something that can happen after many years of use. At that stage the battery needs to be responsibly recycled or disposed of. Our team has since connected with you and provided information on replacing the internal battery, and we’re glad we could help point you toward a solution. If there’s anything further we can do to support you, please don’t hesitate to reach back out — we’re here to help.

Ordered an open box Yeti PRO 4000 earlier in 2025. It suddenly stopped working. Opened support case with Goal Zero. Went back and forth attempting to troubleshoot. After a couple of months, Goal Zero agreed to replace it with a new item under warranty. Received the new product and it's working as expected. I'm grateful for their patience and willingness to work with me. It took a while, but we were able to resolve the situation.

Goal Zero responded within 24 hours to my negative review, then corrected the problem and fulfilled the warranty. As a result, I changed the review to 4 stars. Thank you, Courtney, for responding and correcting the problem. Mark PREVIOUS REVIEW So far 25 days later: 11 emails to support and 3 responses that did not result in the unit working properly after following explicit instructions. I've sent the same info TWICE with no response (purchase receipt and address to repair or exchange the unit under warranty). 4 calls, no return calls, I’ve had 80+ minutes on hold! DON’T BUY THEIR PRODUCTS!

Thank you for the feedback and for taking the time to share your experience. We are sincerely sorry to hear about your frustrating experience with our customer service. The delay, unanswered emails, and long hold times you described are completely unacceptable, and we assure you that is not the standard we aim for. We have recently been in the middle of a transition to a new office and new systems, which has unfortunately impacted our ability to provide the timely support our customers deserve. However, this is no excuse for the poor experience you have had, and for that, we apologize. To get this resolved for you as quickly as possible, we have shared some troubleshooting steps that could help resolve your issue. If these steps do not resolve the issue, we will absolutely honor your warranty and get this resolved. Again, we apologize for the trouble and thank you for your patience.

Bought a nice Yeti 3000x and it died six months out of warranty. After some initial stonewalling and hemming and hawing, I kind of insisted that they make it right. Which they did, sent a replacement unit. Everyone super nice and it turned out to be a good experience. But the lesson is sometimes you have to push to get fair treatment.
