I purchased Widex hearing aids a couple…
I purchased Widex hearing aids a couple of years ago but noticed lately that the rechargeable battery was not holding its charge. I was told that the hearing aids were still under warranty. So they were sent back to the manufacturer to see what was wrong with them. It turns out that the model I had purchased originally is now discontinued. Hear. com was able to get me the latest version of Widex hearing aids and made the whole process hassle-free. What excellent service from Hear.com. I'm delighted! Thank you to all

Overview
Met with audiologist, hearing tested, report findings reviewed and necessary option, being one hearing aid only, decided upon. Everything was excellent from the expertise of the audiologist, to the quality of the hearing aid, and the thoroughness and provision of short and long term follow up and assistance for the short and long term with adaptation to and use of aid. Process incredibly user friendly. Warranties good. Honestly an excellent result.

The only critical feedback I have is…
The only critical feedback I have is that Hear.com does not provide clear written directions for their processes. The packaging of equipment and the care package are excitingly “pretty” but once I opened the box it was a bit overwhelming not knowing what to do with the contents; did not want to break anything by playing around with contents. The care package included a white lidded cup, resembling a urine specimen cup. I had to contact hear.com to ask how the cup is to be used. Arlene was terrific in explaining but a little direction card enclosed in the package would have eliminated the need for me to call, taking Arlene from more pressing business. I am loving my hearing aids and have no regrets. They are expensive and I will need to postpone retirement for several months to pay for them. I know someone who was quoted a price $2,000. less than what I committed to pay. I plan to follow up on this as I know there are different “levels” of aids.

Everyone that I talked to were…
Everyone that I talked to were extremely helpful. This was my first experience with hearing aids and I had no idea what to expect. They allowed me to wear them for about twenty minutes just to see what to expect. I've had mine for about three months now and can't go without them.

A good set of hearing aids
I have worn hearing aids 22 years of my 57 years of life. Prior to 2000 I was told nothing could be done for my hearing since birth. I depended on endless repitions from others and my lip reading skills I taught myself. When I began to wear hearing aids, a whole another world opened up for me. Some bad but mostly good. I had heard things that were new to me like birds chirping and chil children singing to name a few. Now I am on my 5th pair of hearing aids. I like these because I am able to make my own adjustments when I need to. So far I like the personal service I have received, like a personal doctor. The sound I hear through them are very realistic. I like I have my cell phone to make adjustments whenever I need.

These help in preventing hearing loss…
These aids are very easy to use and almost invisible. I have already referred many of my friends to this product. Unlike glasses, hearing aids help keep my hearing in tact so I decided to use them as a preventative tool. I’m very happy with my decision!
