Hello Enrique,
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review about our services. We take feedback very seriously and always strive to do better and solve issues that may come up during the normal course of business.
However, we feel like this review is untrue, misleading and unfair in general terms.
We do not provide configuration support for Minecraft servers. The customer is responsible for their own server, plugins and the way they are configured. This also includes any possible issue caused by said plugins or the server configuration in general.
We're only responsible up to the hardware, network and infrastructure such as the control panel and the platform on which the servers run on.
That being said, we're always happy to assist customers with plugin/configuration related issues as a courtesy service, but this is handled on a best effort basis and the wait times can vary since other issues related to our end are always prioritized first as natural. On our end, most or all tickets that are not related to issues like this are replied within 24 hours if not way less, depending on the request.
You also need to take in count the cost of the service that you're acquiring. At $2.75/GB, the amount you pay for your server couldn't cover the cost of having someone to dedicate several dozens of hours to solve the issues caused by your plugins and/or configuration.
Now, as for the untrue part, and as for the issue in general. This is a problem that was present on your server even before you upgraded. From what we've been investigating, this does looks like a native memory leak (which is what the folks at PaperMC informed you of). A native memory leak has nothing to do with the hardware, platform or with overselling AT ALL. A native memory leak happens at a lower level and can be often caused by a plugin using certain underlying libraries in an incorrect way.
The fact that your server is crashing is not out fault, but merely your own fault, as it's being caused by one of your plugins and/or configuration.
That being said, your ticket is still being handled on our end, and we hope to be able to provide you with any meaningful info that can help you diagnose this issue, and you can expect to hear back from us within a few hours.
Best regards,
Rodrigo A. - Operations director at HeavyNode
