I have been out of work with no medical insurance since Sept 2020. I was in need of medicine for a toenail injury and found the help I needed from Alpha Medical. They provided my much needed medication at a small fee and my foot is much better. Great service...prompt and courteous. I will us them again in the future. Thank you.

I have had a good experience with this site. The only thing that could make it better is if you spoke to the same person the whole time. I felt like there were too many people messaging me and so trying to figure out medicines and insurance was a bit complicated and made the process take longer.

I gave Alpha a shot after seeing an ad online. I did my own research & came to the conclusion that it would be worth giving a shot. The signup was simple as well as the health questionnaire you fill out prior to an appointment. I sought help for weight loss & qualified for a prescription to Wegovy. I was transparent in all of my health history as well as what medications I’m taking so that I can receive choices that fit me. I will say that my consultation wasn’t a video chat, or even a phone call. It was simply me filling out the questions & receiving an “approval” that I am a candidate for a weight loss medication prescription. As I was messaging back w/the nurse I asked a question about medication interaction & it was overlooked & I was given a scripted reply about my medication options. Let me also state that I had full choice in which medication I was prescribed so I did have to do all of my own research on each & see which I felt best fit my circumstance. It was overwhelming at first to have all of the options, but I was able to narrow down based off my preferences & research. There wasn’t someone telling me that they’d recommend X medication over Z medication because of bla bla bla, I had to choose what I wanted and pending insurance approval, it would be sent out to me. The process from beginning to receiving medication (today) took about 10 days, which I’d say is pretty awesome considering an appt for my primary Dr was further out. All in all - I’d recommend Alpha for any weight loss needs and support. I only give 4 stars because of the robotic replies, overlooking of questions & inability for someone to recommend a specific medication based on my needs/qualifications.

In all my previous interactions with my first provider, Ashley Bell, I got fairly prompt responses (within the 24 hour window). My provider this time, Courtney Bolick, would take days to respond, and it seems like she somehow disabled my ability to reply to her messages? So each time I wanted to answer her question, or ask one myself, I had to create a whole new message. It also took her multiple days to reply to my messages. I still have a message to her that hasn't been replied to yet. She had suggested an as needed medication for anxiety, and I indicated my interest, but I haven't seen it in my medications.
