It is so nice to be heard. My previous medical staff was not able to help me as much as Dr Sara.

So far I’ve had a great experience with Midi. It was easy to set up my appointment, and the communication leading up to actual appointment was excellent. My clinician was kind and listened to my issues before tailoring a plan that felt very individualized.

I have serve hot flashes and other menopause issues for years that have been ignored for the most part. 25 yrs ago I was diagnosed with Antiphospholipid Syndrome and hysterectomy in 2018. As a result, my medical provider have always told me that HRT was not an option. MIDI (Ashley) took the time to hear me and the steps to connect me with a hematology to see what options are available. MIDI didn't brush my issues off or encourag me to live with it. I felt HEARD.

Erin is the best! She listens, makes suggestions, and guides you on a journey for hormone replacement therapy and life management. I appreciate her caring demeanor and support! I highly recommend Midi Health!

The initial set up was simple. The doctor I met with I loved. She was extremely knowledgeable and we came up with a plan but after the initial consult, all things sort dropped off and down from there. No labs have been sent for me to do (I sent in 3 previous months of labs). My pharmacy is still waiting on a call back or for Doc to call insurance about one of the medications. I have not gotten prescriptions called in for two of the needed medications as of yet and I am on day 9 post initial consult. I have been communicating with the portal which seems to be user friendly on a PC but not getting return response on emails from doctor except one which was about 7 days ago. I feel very uncomfortable not having direct access to my doctor when it comes to my healthcare. I left a functional medicine doctor because of cost but the the statement you get what you pay for is ringing in my ears here. I want to stay hopeful and believe that Midi is for me but I am not sure now. I have expressed in emails that my hormone pellets dissolve at end of month and I need at the very least 3 of my prescriptions and labs done before then. There seems to be no sense of urgency here even though it is urgent for me. I am still super skeptical whether this is going to work for me or not. I am happy to see others are having a good experience and I was hopeful I would be one of them. Again the doctors are fantastic but maybe like all corporate America, they are overworked and underpaid because I would have and do expect a better return time and more intimate attention to my needs and plan of care. Now I am not sure if I have to scout out another functional medicine doctor or what, to achieve the results I expect and need.

It started off decently well. The initial clinician was very nice, but none of the extensive patient questionnaire I had completed beforehand carried over to her, which is useless and a total time waste, although not her fault. She set up another appointment with another clinician and transmitted lab orders. However, the lab she transmitted to doesn’t perform outside tests, and that’s where it fell completely apart. You cannot reach anyone at MIDI. I messaged through the portal 5-6 times, no response. Called and left voicemails. When I finally got a response, almost ten days had passed. Then, I did the bloodwork and never heard anything back; no one seemed to care enough to obtain results they ordered. I messaged at least 5 more times to try to get the results and then days later heard back, after which time they posted in the portal the wrong bloodwork results from tests they hadn’t ordered, from another (non-MIDI) doctor altogether! I have no idea how they were able to even obtain them (I’m sure a HIPAA violation by the lab); and then multiple messages and days more for them to get the right results and post them. All way past the time of the next appointment, which I then had to cancel. But, I would have absolutely no faith whatsoever in their care at this point—unresponsive, erratic, delayed, and totally confused.

I have been dismissed in the past. Told that it was just “my time of life” and not heard at all. My provider listened and validated my feelings about perimenopause and I am so grateful.

Scheduling was easy, and my appointment with the nurse practitioner itself went fine. Unfortunately, everything after that has been extremely frustrating. I sent my provider three messages through the patient portal and attempted to contact Midi’s support desk four times via phone (which I had to Google) and email regarding a prescription issue—the NP’s license is showing as out of state. It has now been eight days with zero response. No acknowledgment, no follow-up. My pharmacy has also contacted Midi three times and confirmed the prescription keeps being resent back to them incorrectly, despite clear instructions on what needs to be fixed. Specifically, they are adding the NP license information in a "notes" section rather than it being assigned correctly at the bottom of the prescription. As a result, I’ve been waiting over a week to start medications I genuinely need, with no way to reach a live person for help. This may actually be a pharmacy issue and I would be happy to try another pharmacy, but I've received not one response or reply to my multiple requests for assistance to know where the issue lies. For a healthcare company, this level of post-visit support failure is unacceptable and has seriously impacted my trust in the service. I am a self-pay patient and at this moment, I regret spending my money on Midi services.
