While I did not buy my ice maker directly from kismile so have no idea about customer service; however my kismile ice maker model HZB-13AF has surprised me. My cat knocked my ice maker off a shelf about 8 feet and upside down. It was in a box but not with the packing foam. Didn't touch it for months after just put it back on shelf. Gutted up two days ago and took it out and started it. It still makes ice. I am so happy, like it never fell. Impressed by this model ice maker
