So far, my experience with LensDirect.com has been above average. When first I placed my order, I mistakenly selected the wrong lens size for my Ray-Ban Aviators. I contacted customer service and they not only sent me a shipping label for the return, they asked that I send in my frames as well. These were returned o me within days with the right-sized lenses. Thumbs up to LensDirect.com.

Lens direct sent my $350 frames to a different customer, with THEIR prescription in it. Last communication indicated they are in discussion with this person trying to get back the frames. Not only am I am willing to wear someone else’s glasses, I sent in a pair of new frames. The only thing they’ve offered me as a pair of their cheap glasses. Definitely would not recommend this has been 2 1/2 months of my life and I am still without glasses. Engage this company at your own risk. Edit: how many people had this happened to?? This is crazy. They are ignoring me now. I can’t afford to buy these frames again. I also cannot figure out why I am the one who has to beg. I would’ve expected someone to have called and said hey we sent your glasses to someone else but we’re going to reimburse you for the frames that we just stole from you. Instead I’m spending my time begging them as if I’m the one who completely screwed this up. Trying to negotiate with me and send me something lesser than what they stole Update: they did manage to get glasses to me. They couldn’t replace the exact frames that I sent, so I had to pick out a different pair which were not nearly as comfortable as the ones that I sent to them. Unfortunately they put their lenses in these frames. I don’t know if you’ve ever received a pair of noisy glasses? These were noisy. The lenses were literally rattling around in the frames. The first time I cleaned them, one of the lenses popped out. The lenses don’t actually fit the frames. I’m not sure how it’s possible to do one of the two things that your company does so badly, but at least I got something back? This was terrible from beginning to end, and I’m worse off at the end. I still don’t have functional glasses three months later

I had a weird issue when I first placed my order for contacts and it resulted in a double order. I sent an email to customer support on Friday night and was pleasantly surprised to have an answer by Saturday morning (!). DENISE had investigated my query and gave me a quick answer, and also set up my account so I could see exactly what happened. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE! Thanks so much.
