Manhattan PrepReviews of manhattanprep.com

Joe was a fantastic teacher. He was able to cater to each of the students in the class and get through all of the material needed to be prepared on test day. I would recommend Manhattan Prep over other test preparation companies, they seem to care much more about their students. Above all , they teach beyond the common strategies so that you feel confident about how to solve the questions, not just get around the tricks, making you better equipped to do well!

Christine F. was my teacher and she brought an incredible amount of energy and insight to each class. The materials you get, both books and online, are great resources to help you during the course and after it. I definitely recommend the class.

I enjoyed my in-class experience thoroughly (Avi is the best hands down), and I also thought my post-course assessment was very helpful in forming my study-strategy for the weeks leading up to my test. Additionally, I thought the prep materials provided by Manhattan Prep were representative of real questions, and I felt prepared after completing the class and reading the books. However, it's not a system designed for slackers - the course demands a lot of time to dedicate to studying, and you get out of the course what you put into it. Ultimately, Manhattan helped me improve from my base score of 680 to my final score of 740.

Manhattan Prep was more expensive than other options I explored, but it was well worth the investment. The classes were useful, assignments kept me on schedule to cover all topics before the exam, teachers able to give personalized attention after class or over email, and the practice tests were more challenging than the actual test--leaving me well prepared and happy with my final score!

David Chong is great

I took the MGMAT in-person course in Spring 2015. While I found the course content to be thorough, well-delivered, and engaging, I think the course fell short on helping me develop an overall strategy to tackle the GMAT. Over the course of my GMAT study, I spoke with several MGMAT instructors (my course instructor, plus my post-course and post-exam assessment instructors) regarding strategies to improve my score. In each case, I found the MGMAT instructors' advice to be vague and not particularly actionable, and struggled to apply their advice to future practice problems and exams. I think the course would be worth it for half the price. But to be worth the full $1600, I think MGMAT needs to provide more personalized and actionable advice in addition to a good in-class experience.

Highly recommend. My instructor was engaging, knowledgable and humorous. It is an excellent overview of all the subject matter one will encounter on the test. The pace is quick but it needs to be.

I loved my instructor (Christine, NYC). She was not only smart, but was actually a great teacher!
