About a month ago, I max'd out my insurance deductible and my MDLive copay went from $15 to $0. When I confirmed my appt with my provider, billing showed a $0 copay but $105 charges. I confirmed as I was in a rush to set up my appt. My cc was charged $105. The next week, copay was $0 but "other charges" were $80. I accepted that too and then started digging into what was behind the charges. MDLive is recharging me for copays in the previous calendar year(!)....ones that my acct already shows I paid. I escalated this 4 times now and 2 weeks in am still waiting for billing and IT to intervene. Calling into customer service, they have no contact with billing. All the CSR can do is open another ticket. I can't see my provider without paying ANOTHER bogus $105....It is a recurring charge now with no substance. It is so frustrating. Ironically the National Suicide Hotline number is located directly under the MDLive customer service tel nr.....coincidence?....It's MDLive's way of providing support while customers languish in a black hole. As an aside, I really like my provider via MDLive....It's the MDLive management systems that are the problem. Really, really poor customer experience.
