Whatever you do do not get caught up in an autopay with this company they will not let you out. they will give you cancel instructions step by step on a site that doesnt function at all so the the step by step is just so they dont have to cancel you. so now i have to call my bank to stop payment when i just wanted to try it they trap you into a subscription with no way out. Do not do business with these clowns.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE.
TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE.
I was charged for food I did NOT order and I clearly stated I did not want the order. I have proof. What was even more frustrating was being promised a callback from a manager TWICE, and no one ever followed up.
I was offered pressed juice but only in exchange for removing my negative review, which is ridiculously not an appropriate resolution for an incorrect charge and unresolved order issue.
No accountability, no resolution, and extremely poor customer service. Being charged incorrectly and then ignored when trying to resolve it is unacceptable.
I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND this company.

We’re sorry to hear how frustrating this experience was for you, especially regarding the billing concern and the lack of follow-up you expected after requesting management assistance.
To clarify, we do not offer products or incentives in exchange for removing reviews, and that is not how we handle customer concerns. If there was a misunderstanding during communication, we’d like the opportunity to review it directly.
We also understand how upsetting it can feel to believe an order was processed after you expressed you did not want it. In some cases, timing around weekly processing cutoffs can affect whether an order is already in fulfillment, but regardless, the follow-up and communication should have been clearer and more consistent throughout the process.
We’d appreciate the chance to look into your account and communication history further so this can be reviewed properly. Please text us at (888) 632-5918 and reference this review so a senior member of our team can assist directly.

You have to pay to get out
I've used this service for about 4 months. It started great, but the deceptiveness of their advertising became apparent after about 2 months. There really isn't as much meal selection as it seems, because your dietary restrictions are included in the selection. You're just supposed to not pick those. So out of 15 meals, there may only be 8 or 10 for the whole week that you can eat.
So 1st I cut back from 15 meals to 10. Initially, I stayed with them because their customer service was so great.
But then, I had travel plans, and I needed to skip a week, and in fairness to them, it was after the cut off time by a few hours. But you're supposed to be able to use a token to make changes and the token didn't work - the website is glitchy. I called customer service, initially to have them do it manually and see about waiving the 20% fee. The guy on the phone said it should be no problem, just open a ticket.
Anyway, long story short, not only wouldn't they let me skip, but they told me the website was working fine and the only way to stop the meal delivery was to cancel my subscription and resubscribe - and they charged me 80% for that! over 100 dollar to cancel my subscription & no other options
I was so upset I just decided not to resubscribe. I'd avoid them. It starts great but ends badly. Initially, the customer service was great, but this last month it changed completely. I think they may have replaced their people with AI, because my final correspondence with them was completely non-sensical.

Hi Tara,
Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback—we truly appreciate it. We’re sorry to hear that your recent experience didn’t reflect the level of service and clarity we aim to provide.
To clarify a couple of points, our weekly menu does rotate with 15 new meals each week, but we understand how dietary preferences and restrictions can make the available selection feel more limited. That’s helpful feedback for us, and we’ll absolutely take another look at how we communicate and structure that experience so it’s clearer and more intuitive.
We’re also very sorry for the frustration you experienced with skipping your order and the issues you ran into with the system. When things don’t work as expected, especially around travel plans, that’s understandably upsetting. We’d always prefer to step in directly and work through those situations over the phone so we can find the best possible solution in real time.
We also want to sincerely apologize for how this was handled and the outcome you described regarding the fee and cancellation. That’s not the experience we want anyone to have with us.
If you’re open to it, we’d really appreciate the opportunity to connect and make this right. Please feel free to reach out directly to our customer service team, or we can have someone reach out to you as well.
We truly value your past support and your honest feedback—it helps us improve and get better moving forward.

I had a really disappointing experience…
I had a really disappointing experience with Sunday Meals. My recent order included the wrong meals, and several of them smelled bad — clearly spoiled. I had to throw some of them away for safety reasons, and only a few remained in my fridge.
When I contacted customer service, they told me they wouldn’t offer a refund or replacement because I didn’t take pictures of everything. I explained that I threw some meals out because they were inedible, but they still refused to help. It feels like they care more about sticking to a policy than making things right for paying customers.
I used to enjoy their service, but after this experience and the lack of accountability, I won’t be ordering again — and I don’t recommend them unless you’re okay with receiving spoiled or wrong meals and being blamed for it.

I ordered a specific selection of 15…
I ordered a specific selection of 15 meals that I carefully chose and paid for. However, the company later sent me a second shipment with meals I did not select or authorize — including items I never eat, like breakfast options I never asked for. The website did not make it clear that they would automatically continue the subscription or choose flavors for me without my approval. This violates California consumer protection laws (§ 17500, § 17602, § 17200).
I tried to resolve this directly, but I am not satisfied with how the company handled it. I know several other people who had the exact same issue. I strongly warn other customers to read the fine print carefully and be aware of this misleading practice. I am also seeking a full refund for the unauthorized shipment and plan to file a complaint with the BBB and Attorney General if this is not resolved fairly.

One Star Is Too Generous — This Is a $10 Service Dressed in a $200 Costume
Let’s call it what it is: Meal Prep Sunday Service is a scam dressed up in fancy packaging and empty promises.
I paid $50 — supposedly a "steep discount" (LOL) — for a service that delivers like a busted vending machine. And they have the audacity to claim it's normally worth $200? Babe, this isn't gourmet. It's barely cafeteria. This is a $10 operation pretending to be Nobu.
I placed my order after 10AM on Sunday. Fine. But when you boldly advertise same-day delivery for orders placed before 2PM and then ghost me until the next day? That’s not a mistake. That’s fraudulent advertising. Don't gaslight your customers with misleading claims. You’re not running a premium food service — you're running a digital bait-and-switch.
Then comes the cherry on top: I get a chirpy little text telling me my food’s been delivered… only to find out, SURPRISE! It hasn’t. And not all of my meals are coming. So now I’m scrambling to buy lunch like it’s a normal Tuesday. I paid you so I wouldn’t have to do that, remember?
Let’s also talk about the meal selection. You chose things I didn’t want duplicates of. This isn’t some cute “chef’s choice” mystery box — I paid for specific meals. If you run out, ask me. Don’t just throw in rando substitutes like I’m on an airplane.
And no, you didn’t ask what I wanted in place of the missing meals. Because why offer basic human decency when you can just dump leftovers and vanish?
This whole operation is an overpriced, underdelivering, gaslighting mess. I’m disputing the charge and getting my money back. You’ll be lucky if all I leave is this review.
Trash service. Dishonest advertising. Mediocre food. No accountability.
Do better — or at least stop pretending you're premium when you're barely passable.

Hi, we’re sorry your experience didn’t meet expectations. Orders placed after 10 AM on Sunday can sometimes be delayed due to high demand, and we do our best to fulfill all meal selections — substitutions are only made when items sell out. We truly value accuracy and timely delivery, and we’re continuously working to improve both so customers get the meals they choose when they expect them.
