Disappointed in the program as I should've 100% qualified for a bank statement home loan. The ONLY thing that stopped it was the fact that I am 50% owner of my company and they require a CPA letter to prove I own 50%. Well, news flash.. not all small businesses have a CPA. We use quickbooks for our billing and payroll and we have a book keeper. I asked if I could use one of the MANY other ways to prove the one simple fact and I was denied. When I hadn't heard back from Venus after asking if I could use other forms, I was greeted with sarcasm by her when I called today. I guess she was annoyed that I didnt understand. NASB, please consider your policies. Something so easy to prove many other ways is causing you not to get loans out. I qualified with 2 other major places, just wanted a 3rd to compare fees. Thanks anyways.

In an age where everyone seems to over promise and under perform, it seems we have found the exception in Shelly Cox and North American Savings Bank. My wife and I found ourselves at wits end with a loan competitor that had consumed two and one half months of continuous records requests peppered with a litany of promises. We actually lost one home and our Ernest money due to delays. Then, we found Shelly. With no promises but with professional, confidence she sold us immediately. Working hand in hand with the underwriters of North American Savings Bank she swiftly and efficiently closed our new home deal in less than 3 weeks. Shelly never made promises she would not be able to fulfill. Just positive, measured requests, facts and statements. The difference between our experiences with two loan originators was marked. Deep appreciation to Shelly Cox and North American Savings Bank for their tireless and professional skill and knowledge. You have made such a positive difference in our lives. The representatives at the drive-thru window (St Joseph Mo.) are so nice, knowledgable, helpful, etc. I wouldn't go anywhere else. They always have a smile!!!!

NASB does a great job. Their customer service is always friendly and helpful. If you want assistance on a banking problem they have always come up with a very workable solution. Their mobile app is easy to use, and the way its set up makes it so much easier to track my money. Their Fraud Prevention Services work well, within minutes of a suspicious charge they call the customer. Thank you, NASB.

"Sharon" ran my credit and denied me before I was ready. I told them I was searching around for ideas and came across this. She was vague and dismissive, and ran our credit immediately after speaking and containing information, knowing the date had provided for us to be the most ready. That would have been the date to do a hard pull. These people are not being monitored for quality assurance and making rash decisions for their customers without any legal or accountant knowledge or oversight. This level of "processional" should not have access to these files and should simply take information and forward it to a proper department for decision making. I was denied before I realized I was applying. We had subscriptions to cancel and life to pay off. Perhaps cash or other things to add. A property, perhaps. Please take people's credit and lives more seriously. It was only a few weeks to wait. I was just asking questions.

E-sign up was seamless and questions through messaging were answered within minutes. This along with a top notch rate places this organization in a very favorable light. I will be recommending their services.

Didn't know what a barndominium was… In an effort to keep this short, sweet and to the point don't deal with a mortgage company that doesn't understand real estate. We decided to give our business to North American Savings Bank because of the perceived large offering of products for mortgages. To set the stage my wife and I have credit scores at or above 800 no consumer or auto debt and the only debt we have are two secured mortgages that have rental income that more than cover their costs. We own three properties one residential, one rental and one commercial, With a total equity north of $1.3 million. We started our mortgage journey with Dirk kiser (loan officer) and explained to Dirk that we were looking at and had made an offer on a property consisting of 95 acres and a barndominium. We gave him the listing information and discussed what that property was and what our intention is. You would think that if there were any concerns with this type of property we would have been alerted at that time or shortly thereafter. That was not the case, in fact we made it all the way up to four days prior to the closing when we were then told that they did not have a product that fit our property. We are now at risk of losing a property that we had searched three years to find because of the ineptitude of one individual with the inability to know his products and real estate in general. If you are looking for a property that doesn't fit the cookie cutter 3 bedroom 2 bathroom house in suburbia do not and I repeat do not waste your time and money with this company. To sum things up Dirk made it very clear that he and North American savings bank takes no responsibility for us losing the opportunity to purchase this property. Thank you NASB for wasting our time and money.
