Newark has up'd their customer service over the past year, I can count on them to ship out on time, every time. And the product Newark carries is reliable.

I ORDERED 2 SIEMENS 30MM PUSHBUTTONS , I RECEIVED 2 SCHNEIDER PUSH BUTTONS . I WAS NOT TOLD THESE WOULD BE SUBBED .. WE ARE A SCHNEIDER DIST. !! I HAVE THESE BUTTONS ON THE SHELF AND COULD SELL THEM AT HALF THE PRICE OF YOURS .. THEN I WAS TOLD I COULD NOT SEND THEM BACK { BY STEVEN } THEN DELORES PURSUED ISSUE FOR ME TO DO RETURN .. Overall experience was okay. Navigating through the site to find the items i needed was not very intuitive. I did manage to find everything I needed once I searched with part numbers. When I got to the checkout prompt I was confronted with another issue. I was not presented with the cost of different shipping options. I choose standard shipping and left a note in the comment section indicating that I wanted the economy shipping option. I followed up with an email once I received an email with my full quote. A few emails were exchanged with long response times and my package was eventually sent without correcting the shipping preference. My out of pocket cost was therefore a lot higher then other competitors I reviewed. Customer service communication was not satisfactory. I was impressed with the packaging and quality of the items. So I rated my overall experience a 3 out of 5 . I would of gave them another point if myy last email was responded to.

Really love how professional Newark element14 is when I call. Also, when I order parts, I get every item exactly no mistakes!! The packaging is INCREDIBLE!!! When I received my order, I said to myself, I feel like a king! No one, and I mean no one has ever treated me so nice. I am a non-commercial customer - ham radio operator / collector. Newark is (was?) running a promotion on electrolytic caps of which I needed a fairly large variety and quantity. After several hours of working hard putting together an order for a lot of electrolytic caps for my receivers and transmitters, it was time to check out. I got to the last step of check out where one pushes the button to make payment. I was shocked to see an extremely high charge for shipping (this was the first time and only time the process shows the customer this number). Based on my order and knowing what shipping costs typically run, it was about 3 times higher than what seemed reasonable. I called Newark customer service to explain my concern. The call was answered immediately by a human being who spoke perfect English, was very knowledgeable, and who immediately put me at ease by assuring me she would help me. By the time she finished, the shipping costs were adjusted to a very reasonable figure and my order was processed. What a relief! What a fabulous, helpful, and proactive service individual. I'll be ordering from Newark again, for sure. Just wish I could give them more business. (I have no financial interest - no relative of any employee)

Here in Alaska, when items are ordered, it can take several weeks for them to show up. I was quite impressed that I received the items in about a week. Great Job! I have yet to make use of the bridge rectifiers as I have an extremely busy schedule. Thanks guys.
