no up front documents: DO NOT TRUST THEM
No up front documents, nothing in the agent listing agreement, just expected to trust some unknown guy on the phone somewhere else to suddenly put your credit in the closing docs last minute. super stressful. I did get the promised .5% when I bought a house - added back in only when I reminded them about it. The email so-called "documents" sent to me from newzip originally only explained the buying part of it and say NOTHING that the credit or rate reduction process would be handled any differently when I sold my house. The agent commissions were NOT reduced when I sold. I paid the same market-rate agent commission for selling, buying, and for the other two agents - no reductions from anyone. TERRIBLE way to do business. Got screwed in the thousand$ by them at closing when I sold my house. Mediocre agents that talk a good game at first but switch to victim-mentality whenever there's a problem. DO NOT TRUST THEM

Hi Jeff, I’m Adi Pavlovic the CEO & Co-founder of Newzip. Thank you for sharing your perspective, we take all feedback seriously. I understand how stressful navigating both buying and selling in this market can be. Reviewing your file, I’m glad to see we did successfully save you 0.5% on your home purchase as a closing credit and a 1% listing fee reduction on your sale as outlined in the introduction email we sent you on March 20th, six months prior to your closings. Due to state law, Newzip isn't a party to the listing or buyer agreements, which is why the buy-side reward appears as a credit in your closing documents. I'm always open to feedback on how we can better communicate and guide our customers through the process, so please feel free to reach me at [email protected] if you have any specific suggestions on what we can do better moving forward.
