Hello Moumita,
We respect your opinion and your freedom of speech.
We appreciate your feedback and concerns, and while it is not our usual practice to engage in detailed responses, we believe that addressing this particular situation is essential due to the severity of the allegations made by Moumita.
At Ordering, we value honesty, respect, and professionalism in all our interactions, and we want to set the record straight.
Our Commitment and Help to Small Businesses
It is disheartening when individuals misuse the trust we place in them to take advantage of our goodwill. Ordering has a long-standing commitment to supporting small businesses for over a decade, and our mission has always been to provide comprehensive solutions to startups in need.
The Context of the Situation
In the case of Moumita, she came to us with a compelling story about her search for a new provider following a "horrible and negative" experience with her previous system and the company's founders. While some may have viewed this as a red flag, we saw it as an opportunity to assist a distressed small business. Moumita mentioned her previous help in making his previous provider a million-dollar company and her desire to invest in her venture with catering features.
The Help of Ordering.co
To accommodate her needs, we designed a customized package priced at $359 per month for the license, significantly lower than the standard $599 per month. We went further by offering unlimited store additions, a rare offering for startups. We also absorbed initial customization costs, which amounted to $3,564, along with a setup fee of $999, and additional customization work related to delivery fees, all in our attempt to assist her.

Cost of Ordering and Offer for Refund
However, the fees collected so far ($1,476 in monthly fees plus the $999 setup fee) still fall short of covering our initial development cost, making it unfeasible to refund these fees. We can only refund what was explicitly agreed upon during the purchase, which is limited to the open-source code refund of $1500.

The Lie and the Manipulation
Contrary to Moumita's claims, our work was indeed completed as per the contract, as confirmed by her username on ASANA, where she acknowledged our timely delivery and even apologized for minor delays. Furthermore, we recently launched our Catering features, as promised, and these were provided to her at no extra cost, in line with our contract.
On Top, she wrote via email that he should make us personally and legally responsible for the harm caused to her multi-million-dollar business. (She is a startup).
Contract Termination and Unprofessional Behavior
Moumita's unilateral termination of the contract, without adhering to the agreed-upon terms and without settling the remaining fees, was a breach of her contract and undermined our good-faith efforts to support her.
The Truth
Unfortunately, Moumita made unreasonable requests for additional custom work, which we couldn't fulfill due to the strain it would place on our resources. When she faced rejection from our board of directors, her reaction was to resort to threats, not only against Ordering but also our founders, in an attempt to recover every dollar she had paid.
Nevertheless, we agreed to do the custom work once again for free, sacrificing all of our profit to help her, and she rejected the offer.
Offenses, harassment, and violence:
Several members of our custom work, project management, and support team, including the founders, experienced unprofessional and offensive behavior from Moumita, which ultimately strained our ability to maintain a respectful working relationship.
Conclusion, and our promise.
We offered a partial refund and free custom work, but Moumita rejected it in pursuit of a complete refund of all fees paid. We have acted in good faith throughout this process.
