Hello David, we are sorry you have had the experience you described which is not normal. The login has of course to be secure which is paramount. No passwords on any account have ever been lost, there are encrypted in the account and available once securely accessed. We do have a mobile app on our dev schedule for next year. Hello Wolf, there must be a misunderstanding here, your last message to our customer support team was on June 13th and we replied on June 13th. As there was no further communication we believed the issue had been resolved. Noting that we clearly communicate the importance of safely retaining your encryption key which is fundamental to the product security. Hello Neil, to clarify, no passwords have been lost, we explicitly provided notice in the application on March 17 2023, to be seen every time the app was opened, that there would be three months for our Passpack V7 customers to export their data and migrate to the new Passpack V10. Unfortunately this could not be automatic as the new version is built on completely different technology. We also updated the notice to advise that if access were delayed beyond June 17, with the app going offline, we would endeavor to provide access for a further six weeks to August 1st, a total timeframe of 4.5 months to export data and transfer. Once past that date, as notified, the platform was taken down. We are grateful to the vast majority of our loyal customers that successfully completed the process within the timeframe Best regards. Hello Pepito, to clarify, we explicitly provided notice in the application on March 17 2023, to be seen every time opened, that there would be three months for our Passpack V7 customers to export their data and migrate to the new Passpack V10. Unfortunately this could not be automatic as the new version is built on completely different technology. We gave reminders including a notice that if access was delayed beyond June 17, with the app going offline, we would endeavor to provide access, but in order to re-open specific customer requests we would be incurring incremental costs that we needed to partly recover, hence the need for the fee. We are grateful to the vast majority of our loyal customers that successfully completed the process within the three-month timeframe. For the customers that did need access in the “emergency access” period we provided future free use of Passpack V10 that in most cases exceeded the fee cost. Best regards. Decker G Passpack Support

Hello Henri, to clarify we worked hard at communicating the closure of V7. The notice was put up March 17 next to the login of the desktop & mobile version of the application with and without the remember-me function. This stated customers had three months to export their data. Also, Passpack V7 did not require customers to record their email address. At the close of that period i.e. June 17th 2023, with the app going offline, in order to re-open on specific customer requests involved additional work and cost that we needed to partly recover, hence the need for the fee.
