This is a solid HRIS but is lacking on the LMS side.

Like - My dedicated specialist, Cory Lanier and her team provide great customer service. They respond via phone and email promptly. Dislike - I'm unable to access the courier settings of who and how our checks are delivered. to make changes without having to call. Real waste of time. I'm unable to receive quarterly CA state payroll reports automatically without having to request them each time. We have to use an outside broker for our benefits having to do 80% of the work ourselves compared to ADP Workforce.

Overall, I’m a fan of Paycom and have appreciated the platform’s capabilities. However, I’ve noticed recently that some of the specialists I’ve interacted with seem uncertain about certain processes. If a specialist is unsure of something, it would be much more helpful—and reassuring—if they simply said, “I’m not sure, but let me check with my manager and get back to you.” That level of transparency would go a long way in building trust and ensuring accurate support.

My current rep is amazing! Knowledgable, great to work with, quick to respond. Had an experience prior with a rep who wasn't confident in her knowledge, couldn't always assist with high level issues, and not quick to respond. We also have a significant GL issue that is increasing the amount that we are paying for services that has not been able to be resolved to our satisfaction. The software itself is fantastic, highly recommend!

The customer service has let us down. I end up having to call more than once to get a different specialist who usually does not have the answer for me or gives me an incorrect one.

The set up/implementation was rushed and only after working in the program for a few months have we been able to recognize the faults.

I have been with Paycom since January of 2022. Paycom started out as a breath of fresh air for me after ADP majorly failed me while onboarding 500+ employees to their system. I had been pleased with the technology paycom offers and the fact that you get a dedicated specialist. Fast forward to 2023, I've had 4 different specialist with no explanation of why they have changed. I wouldnt mind except the service continued to decline with each new specialist either they were incompentent or negligent. Ultimately, I did undergo some organizational changes and informed paycom I would be terminating services with them. After informing them the services dramatically declined and I was informed that I would only have access to the system for 3 days after terminating. This was shocking as I still can access my ADP account that I had from 2021 and for good reason I often need to refer back for data. I winded up paying $5000 for extended access but this only gave me 90 days with a cut off date of 8/21/23. To my dismay they were unwillling to extend it to atleast the beginning of the new year so my $500+ employees could access w2's electronically. Instead I'll be tasked with mailing out all of these w2's. Disappointed in the exit from paycom.

My experience mainly comes from my previous working experience with Paycom, so I'm familiar with how the system works. However, I've seen my co-workers, who do not have the same experience as I do, often struggle with utilizing the system the way it is intended. They aren't able to get clear and consistent guidance on how different modules are supposed to work from different departments within Paycom. I think Paycom has a lot that it already offers but is getting in it's own way with new developments when there is significant room for improvement on current features that can drastically improve the working life of HR professionals.
