When I adopted my German Shepherd, Scooby Doo, from Humane Society of Missouri theyou suggested pet insurance. I had never used anything like this before, but made a wise decision to sign up immediately. Scooby Doo has allergies, and Pet First has been with us all the way. I strongly encourage anyone with pets, or those adopting, to sign up. Best decision you will ever make for the health of your pet and peace of mind.

After we adopted a 1-year-old supposedly healthy cat, our vet discovered a tumor on her liver. Surgery was in the thousands of dollars. PetFirst covered all charges, no questions asked. Submission of paperwork was straight forward with no red tape.

This insurance has literally paid for itself over the years. It is well worth the monthly investment, not to mention the peace of mind that I feel when I realize I don't have to deny my cats the lifesaving measures they sometimes need. Vet bills aren't nearly as scary when you know you're covered for those "big things!"

Good customer service and decent value for money but only if you have a costly issue. The large $500 deductible per incident is problematic and premium prices go up dramatically every year.
