Payouts have been consistently on time, the investor portal is easy to navigate, and working with their team has been a smooth process. I’m rating four stars for now as my bonds are still years away from maturity, but I am very satisfied with the experience so far.

Matt was very prompt in answering questions. I think Phoenix is a great company. They were very prompt with interest payments. I decided to withdraw my investments prematurely because of concerns that the company is heavily indebted and may have hard time weathering adverse conditions. I knew about 5% penalty but there are other restrictions, I was not aware of. The principal -penalty is not available for 120 days after you submit request. The company has right to limit the redemptions if they are overwhelmed with redemption requests.

Thank you for sharing your feedback and for recognizing Matt’s responsiveness and our team’s efforts. We understand that redemption terms are an important part of an investment decision, and we encourage investors to review the offering documents carefully and contact our team with any questions. We appreciate the time you spent with Phoenix Energy and wish you the best.

I enjoy seeing real people talking on the webinar. Although the content is a bit over my head I don’t want it to be dumbed down. I would rather challenge myself and learn new words and concepts. I really enjoyed one person saying he is a Christian. The only reason I don’t give five stars is that more time needs to pass to see the results of my investment. But anyway, I guess what stands out for me is seeing real people on the webinar and talking to a real person on the phone. This alone makes them stand out from many many other businesses and is reason enough to give them a try.

So far so good. I hope they keep on paying premiums. The corporate bonds sold to individuals are not first obligation debts, but are like IOU's or promissory notes, behind about a $450 million term loan to Fortress Investment Group and Ares Management, so these are not First liens in the event of Bankruptcy. The company appears to be diversified, though only in the oil and gas sector.
