Great products, honest company
I’ve started using PSC products since August and my acne and melasma are almost gone after 2 months only.
They put a lot of effort into communicating with each customer in their facebook group. Lots of great advice! Finally a skincare line that doesn’t try to rip you off and truky cares about their customers.

TCA 13% Love it!
I heard about this company through Penn Smith on YouTube so I thought I would give the TCS 13% peel a try. I have to say that I am quite impressed. When I do peels through my medical aesthetician, I feel the burn and yet I only seem to peel a little around the corner of my nose. These peels cost about $175 each and so I buy packages of 3 when on special. I have only done one peel with Platinum so far and all I can say is "You have my attention!" Not only did I get the peel I was looking for on my face (neck didn't peel and that's ok), but you should see my fingers, lol! Peeling too. Clearly I need to wash my hands a little longer to rinse of the peel. But this is my learning opportunity and not a slam towards this business.
Overall, I think it is sad that reviewers give one star for issues that are out of Platinum's control, i.e. delivery issues or not reading the instructions. There are a ton of videos on their YouTube site to review so you have an idea on how to use their products; don't guess. When you order, they send you videos on how to use their products, which I like so when the product arrives, you can get a jump start. In short, I'm enjoying the peel, I hope my other skincare products are now able to work even better, and I may even start taking a more seriously look into what other products they offer as they are batting 1,000 with me right now. In short, I would recommend the TCA 13% peel. Thanks Platinum.

Thank you so much!!! We have over 15,000 reviews on our website ... and they are MOSTLY AMAZING .. oh, but when you go to "other" review programs where people are only looking to find places to complain .. then you see a different story. Unfortunately we don't really monitor
"other" rating programs, so it is harder for us to tell our side of that situation promptly. We sincerely appreciate your coming here and telling your story.
Our GOAL is to make sure that everyone is Educated on how to use our products. That they prep accordingly, use the correct acids and percentages for their skin coloring and type. We want everyone to have amazing results if possible. Again... thank you so much for your gushing positivity on this platform. We are here for you if you need! I never received my order
I never received my order. The seller claims it should have arrived on the 17th of Oktober. Since then there is no contact, no refund. 83,44 $

That's 7 weeks ago. There is no update on the tracking page.
You already know that I didn't receive it, (I didn't get a notification in the mailbox, and no chance of picking it up anywhere). So regardless....You have proof that no package have arrived and have been refusing to refund for what you#ve insured anyways

[Additional response after customer editing original]. We do not get any notification if a package has been Refused/Sent back to Receiver unless: 1. You reach out to us at [email protected] to let us know, or 2. We receive a package by the carrier. We will not do a refund until a package is in our hands. As I check now - I do not see a refund on your account. This means that we have not received your package back from the carrier yet. Please follow the LINK that I provided here/emailed originally... so you can see what We see. I cannot see any further than October 17 when you were not there to accept the package. **Since the package did make it to your address - the insurance carrier will not cover this. They cover To the destination. If you Refuse/Can't accept ... the return journey is not insured. The Carrier can pick this up though if they lose it. We are not at that point yet. They may have held that package for 2 more weeks Prior to marking it for a Return journey. We do not have any information as of yet. As I explained .. it can then take up to 4+ weeks to arrive Back to us. So this could be arriving any day now. When it does you will absolutely be refunded the product's pricing. There is no question of this. Patience is required at this point since it is not a direct Replacement/Lost/Stolen package. It was {in the carrier's eyes} ... Refused. We will reach out to you when we have word. Very best.
Hello Larissa. We ship every single package with Full Coverage Insurance. This is notated: 1. At checkout, 2. In your Invoice receipt, 3. In your tracking email, and of course 4. On our website. There is not a need to panic or worry. Please just contact [email protected] We will create a Claim with Cabrella Insurance. Now ... let's see what happened in this case:
I see your order shipped on October 6th - and see the following: Times are in local time of the checkpoint location.
Delivery attempt (addressee absent)
Oct 17 2023 11:20 am
2023-10-17T11:20:00 *Generally, if you are not there after 2 attempts to collect any duty/customs they will send the package Back to Us. **All customs/duty fees are listed on the checkout page where you choose your shipping so there are never any surprises. This is what your checkout method chosen said:
"Asendia-Post 2-6 wks (e-PAQ Plus - $21.96 in duties and taxes will be payable on delivery)"
So, your carrier needed to be paid $21.96 or they will not leave the package. They generally leave a Package Delivery Missed notice in your mail to give you warning. In the USA ours is Pink.
When we receive the package back you will be refunded (- shipping fees paid to the carrier for the journey). We email you when this happens. **I also put your email in the Tracking page so that you can get an email when they deliver the package to Asendia and at the end to Us/Sender.
**Mind you, carriers are not Quick to send back undeliverables. It can take 1-2 months for us to receive it - but when we do - you will be refunded. Please give some time for this to happen. Here is a copy of your tracking link for your own reference: https://www.aftership.com/track/asendia-usa/0245FA4C2DEC4E08BEF3

Overall great company with lots of…
Overall great company with lots of information for anyone looking to improve their skin.
I've been using their products for about a year and a half. Between TCA peels (9 months of 13% and now a few months of 20%) along with fade bright, retinol, etc, I have not seen the changes I had hoped for. For example, I started this journey with a small sun spot and since I've started using these products my spot has gotten larger (yes, I had it checked out). So I have been bummed that I am not seeing the results I had hoped for.
However, the company is responsive, offers lots of information and guides, which, in the long run, can allow you to learn how to take care of your skin yourself and ultimately save you money.
I've never had an issue with a shipment getting lost.
Only shipping issue I had was recently when a bottle wasn't sealed correctly and I lost a few inches of product. They did credit my account a few dollars though.
Overall, legit company that I have recommended to others looking to take control of their skin care routine.

Hi Kimberly and thank you for taking the time to share your experience thus far. With pigmentation - it can be stubborn. We generally recommend Jessners and Fade Bright daily (with SPF 50) for those wanting to really target spotting. If this is your biggest issue - I suggest - even just spot treating it with the jessners PRIOR to your TCA peels. *TCA is excellent for stimulating collagen/elastin ... and is THE anti-aging peel. But, jessners is preferred for hyperpigmentation. If you can, take a few minutes to watch this video: https://www.platinumskincare.com/how-to-treat-melasma-daily-products-peels/
And remember things do take time. Many times... any depth in color/increased spotting on the face after peels is damage coming up .... and out. Continue with your daily melanin inhibitor treatments/retinoids/etc... and this should be removed soon.
Remember that TCA gets its strength from the layers being applied. Not too dry and Not too wet. Practice makes perfect and patience alway wins.
We are sorry to hear a bottle was damaged during shipment and are glad that Customer Care refunded you for the lost volume. Please reach out to us directly if you have any questions we can help with. 1-800-917-3155 or [email protected]

Extremely serious harmful TCA peel 30%.
Extremely serious harmful TCA peel 30%.
I used it beginning of February on my skin and my face skin getting extremely dark and I can’t go outside with my face condition. When I put chemical peel on my face it was terrible burning my skin. I don’t recommend anyone to use their peel.
I’m totally broke now.

Hello. We are so very sorry to hear this. the intent of TCA 30 is for a body peel Or for full dilution to a much lower percentage.
For everyone's safety, of which we take Very Seriously.... it is Very Clearly stated on our website, in all videos, on the selection dropdown, and in all text on the page.... that TCA 30 is not for the face. It is also not for Fitzpatrick skin types 4-6. We are unsure as to why it was used against its purpose here.
Just in case you purchased without reading ANY of our website...
Anyone that purchases a TCA peel is also sent an email with a WARNING regarding TCA 30 ... as many just follow other recommendations of youtubers and such thinking it is OK for other uses. It is NOT.
1. Always listen to the Manufacture of the product you are purchasing.
2. Always read your Peel Manual and follow those directions. TCA 30 is not for face use.
So, what I believe has happened here (with the dark skin you are stating) is called PIH. This is Post Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation. It is very common with ethnic skin types (olive and darker ... Fitzpatrick 4-6).
With these skin types we recommend the use of a melanin inhibitor such as our Fade Bright or Hydroquinone for 3-4 weeks Prior to doing doing a TCA peel.
After this prep we recommend the lowest Percentage of 13% at 1-2 layers.
This is used to Prevent, or greatly lessen the chances of getting PIH. It is not a guarantee.. but any pih will be greatly lessened.
In order to treat any PIH you will follow the same steps after. Melanin inhibitor every day and SPF 50. Stay out of the sun. UV rays will always make any pigmentation worse. If you do a peel you must stay out of the sun.
Please see this video here: https://www.platinumskincare.com/so-you-ended-up-with-pih for more suggestions.
While this is a very unfortunate situation, please follow the recommendations I have offered so that you can lighten the pigmentation that has occured from using too strong an acid. Expect this to take a few months of consistent treatment.

Hello there.
We are so happy that your package was delivered quickly. Unfortunately we are sad to see that you are frustrated with us over something we do not have any say with.
We here at Platinum Skin Care cannot charge you Import/Duty/Customs fees in advance when shipping a package with the mail service. Any fees that are imparted by your receiving government will be paid directly to them upon the package's delivery.
*We DO have a wonderful feature on our website by Zonos that you can select by clicking the FLAG at the bottom of any webpage on our website. When you have items in your cart - the popup will tell you what your estimated fees will be.

Post purchase customer service with missing parcel non-existent
See my review below this, at the bottom, and then please see the update directly below this sentence.
So, the insurance which I took out at Platinum Skin Care's behest, didn't pay out (not soon enough after shipping they said ... how does that work especially when a parcel has gone missing and it takes a while to figure that out?). Anyway, and then I brought that to Jen's attention, who then partially refunded me only for the items I purchased. And not for the shipping ... so I am $30+ dollars out of pocket.
I ordered $163 worth of products to be shipped to Greece. Upon purchase a third-party suggestion to insure comes up. Wonder why? Anyhow, after purchase (money off account), another third party emails one to verify one's details (6 emails later which included a picture of myself with my ID (highly personal info) and CC info (also highly personal) in hand before I was verified). Now the parcel is missing. I emailed and Jen at Platinum Skincare said "insurance". I said I don't want to claim in case the parcel arrives (it has been 6 weeks). I phoned US post office (an hour on an international call), who told me the tracking number was not traceable internationally. So since it left the shores of the US, I can't trace the parcel. What the heck?! The insurer has the wrong physical delivery address (no mention of Greece). I told Jen this via email. No further feedback from her. Seems to me that as long as they have my money, they couldn't give a damn about whether I receive the parcel or not. I'm not an American so what do they care. I don't want to claim in case the parcel arrives, but claiming is besides the point. I would have liked them to have sent the parcel so that one can track the parcel from them to me. I have asked Jen for the waybill and nothing has come through. Platinum Skin we-don't-actually CARE - if you are an international customer, don't order here as if the parcel doesn't arrive, because of the insurance (at her behest), she simply passes the buck. My feeling is that they should have sent this with a tracking number that I can follow from them to me. The way they have sent it, leaves me nowhere and Jen at Platinum Skincare simply passes the buck. What is worse, is she doesn't do it actively either, she does it by ignoring one. What she should do is go, terribly sorry, our mistake, we should have sent it with a tracking number. We are sending you another order, this time with a tracking number from us to you. That would be the right thing to do. I am not holding my breath.

Hello. This review was placed on a 3rd party platform, so we have unwittingly missed responding until now (4-2022). We are based in the United States and handle a great deal of global orders. We have been here for 20 years and have an excellent understanding on how to get orders to customers with very good results.
Since I do not know your name or order number - I can't dig deep into this. I can only post here how we handle ALL orders.
1. We add Route Insurance onto every order at checkout. If anything happens to your order ie: lost/miss delivered/stolen/damaged… Route Insurance will make sure that a replacement is sent or a refund if that is what the customer chooses. This is handled 100% between the customer and the insurance company.
2. The customer is sent an email from Route the second that their order is marked Shipped in our system. They have access and can file a claim at any time something goes amiss. There are rules: Lost packages need to be notified no later than day 30 without a scan from the carrier. As a benefit WE send out an email ON day 20 after shipment to remind all customers to check their parcel to be sure it is moving along as scheduled.
We ship directly to the address provided by you during the checkout stage. Our shipping program pulls your address, and we ship without changing any elements of the address. If there was an error ... ie country code, zip, street or City/State, we have no control over that - nor would we know if there was an error since many global addresses vary greatly from US addresses.
We most definitely have full coverage insurance with Route. It is added onto every single order during the checkout phase. It is $0.98 up to $100 and 3% thereafter. Since covid we had noticed too many missing/lost/stolen/packages not making it to customers. We have had this for 2 years now and Route works wonderfully – replacing or refunding our customers as needed.
After reading your comments I see that Route Insurance DID take care of you with a refund. It is their policy to provide to you one of two options:
1. Full replacement. Route places a new order on your behalf and pays to ship it to you. This is the BEST option in which you will have lost nothing (but time) and will end up with a full order.
2. Refund of product price. This is the option that you chose. You were refunded for your products. Route will not refund shipping fees paid to the carrier... hence why most like to choose to get the products replaced instead. They are still wanting the product if it did not arrive.
We are stuck in a conundrum if you realize that a provided address is wrong AFTER the order has shipped. There is no way for us to stop this order. We make sure to ALERT all our customers to check their address immediately after their email is sent verifying the orders. If an address update is sent out to us immediately, we are generally able to update that.
So, while I understand your frustration not receiving your package when you had hoped, I am also extremely happy that Route Insurance handled your order as it should have and gave you the Refund you chose.
