My experience with Platinum LED has been 5 star. I am in England (The UK is a company not a country FYI) and from the initial order of a Biomax 450 making use of the Black Friday sale, I was kept up to date with regular emails from both Platinum LED and the shipper; UPS. It does make me laugh when I read comments from people complaining about ‘unexpected’ import tax and I’m sorry but this only shows a lack of research and/or knowledge on your part. I knew what I duty I would have to pay so it came as no surprise when UPS emailed me with a link to make the payment before the light and stand would be delivered. As for the light itself; so far, so good. Both the light and the stand feel well built, they are ‘weighty’ and I am not concerned with potential accidents even with children around (touch wood). The intensity from the light is a similar feeling to what you get from the sun (remember that yellow thing in the sky we used to see a lot of) at around 6”. It’s early days but I am confident this light will serve its purpose for years to come and hence the 5 star review.

The light and stand is not worth buying. Firstly with the stand, they have the lowest height fixed way too high, it goes much higher above the body than what it should be, and there’s no way to adjust it down. It’s a scam, really! And when you use the remote function, it forces you to use the light for 20 minutes, you cannot change that unless you select the non-remote option, which is inconvenient when you’re under the light. And what does it take to get just a bit of decent service from these people? Despite repeatedly contacting them because my delivery just was not reaching me, they refused to reply. Horrible people. You can find better products from other Companies. It was definitely not worth dealing with these people. They are overpriced and at this point, there are newer and better products out there that would outshine theirs. Save your money!

I have changed my initial one star review, which was left because of the unexpected taxes that needed to paid before the courier would deliver. I believed I had ordered from a a UK seller as the website has a UK URL. platinumtherapylights dot co dot uk. The lights are already very expensive and the unexpected extra £61 taxes and lack of customer service on complaint were not good. The lights arrived today and I have to say the lights, accessories and instructions are all very high quality. A pleasant paradigm shift. I’m looking forward to using them

I recently placed an order with them and encountered a frustrating delay in shipment. The company attributed the delay to UPS, claiming that the carrier had not picked up the product. However, after verifying directly with UPS, I was informed that the company had not submitted a request for the item to be shipped. What was particularly disappointing was receiving an email from them placing the blame on UPS, despite clear evidence that the issue originated on their end. This lack of accountability and transparency has been highly frustrating and reflects poorly on their customer service.

The website said they deliver to Thailand, but when they sent my shipment of $1000 worth of items via UPS, it couldn't get through Thai customs. Customer service was unhelpful and insists I pay whatever they are quoting, in this case $1500+ in a myriad of charges (FDA licensing, storage, processing, agent fees of an outside company). PlatinumLED refuses to refund me the amount of this order. I can either forfeit the claim, lose $1000 and get nothing, or pay 2.5x what I intended to pay to get the lights through customs. I beg you not to do business with this irresponsible company. They are the absolute worst!

The product is good, but I warn anybody that plans to buy from their website, the customer service is a nightmare. The manager was so unprofessional after making a $5000 purchase, they never reached out to make sure it was received properly and charged my credit card for shipping even tho I never received my order, DO NOT ORDER FROM DIRECTLY FROM THE WEBSITE!!!

I am disappointed with the PlatinumLED Red Light Therapy panel. From the moment I unpacked it, the build quality was clearly not up to standard. The screws were of varying sizes and shapes, giving the impression of a poorly assembled product. Furthermore, due to its excessive weight and the lack of sturdy mounting accessories, it’s virtually impossible to mount securely anywhere. This is especially frustrating given the price. The user interface is equally disappointing. The side menu is completely counterintuitive, whether accessed directly from the panel or via an iPhone. The entire control experience feels like an afterthought, poorly engineered, and frustrating to navigate. Customer service was similarly unhelpful. Like many other customers have reported, their responses were inadequate and did nothing to assist. I found the support to be apathetic, which only added to my dissatisfaction. As for the light quality itself, I won’t even comment on it, because at this point, the technical aspects of the product feel irrelevant. Even if the light is good, it doesn’t justify the poor design, substandard build quality, and unresponsive customer service. Overall, this feels like an overpriced Chinese-made product that I regret purchasing.
