Interesting Class, Less Self Promotion
3.5 stars. Bernie Maloney's content and teaching style was engaging and his breadth of knowledge about Agile and Scrum impressive. However, the constant self promotion of his own consulting services and YouTube channel really took away from the class for me. At one point, he interrupted a student's question for time purposes but then immediately told us to "like and subscribe."

Thanks for taking the time to leave this feedback. I do aim to get feedback like this during class including through an anonymous form that's available across all 4 days, so I can improve earlier. My references to the youtube channel are to let participants know about the free material I make available there, including techniques that can help people in job search have the job start to chase them. Please forgive me for injecting too much about such material.

Good intro to product management
This class was a good intro to product management. I left feeling confident in understanding how agile/scrum is supposed to work, and why it is set up that way. Bernie Maloney was a good teacher, and the course activities helped us actually practice the various scrum events, which was helpful. I do wish a little more time were spent on how to do each part of scrum and how to apply it to our specific work environments, and less time on general leadership tips and team building techniques that were outside the scope of the class.

The content of the course is great
The content of the course is great. The speed of the training is very fast and for non-English native speakers, the abbreviations used during the exchanges add sometimes difficulties to keep in touch with the group.

Thanks for this feedback. I recognize the challenge, having lived outside the USA myself. Your feedback is a good reminder for me to note to each class that they can turn on the closed captioning in Zoom. Often, that live text transcription element helps non English native speakers. And, from other feedback in a recent class, I recognize it can help some native english speakers as well!

Content was great for a 0-2 year PO
Content was great for a 0-2 year PO. Thought material would go a little deeper, didn't help even as a refresher for more seasoned person. Bernie was good, engaging instructor.

Thanks for this feedback. I often describe this CSPO material as an "Agile 102" course. There are other workshops at an "Agile 202" - the A-CSPO that also requires 1y of experience - and an "Agile 302" - the CSP-PO that also requires 2y of experience. I am sorry this didn't meet your desires. Certification for Product Owner…
The certification for Product Owner course that I took with Bernie was great! The class was enjoyable and very beneficial. I have gained a lot of Jargon, and strategies that I can take back to my organization. I highly recommend this course with Bernie! He is a talented Agile Coach that clearly has so much passion in what he teaches!

Bernie is an excellent facilitator
Bernie is an excellent facilitator, engaging and very helpful. Training content easily accessible and user friendly. I love that the documents can be downloaded for future reference. I also appreciate that Bernie has has made himself available for questions and advice anytime.
