I love that this program is a work-at-your-own-pace type program. When I purchased the program, I had every intention of completing it in a reasonable time frame. Reasonable is a relevant term as it is not the same for everyone, and life can get in the way. I was finally able to sit down, refresh what I had already gone through, and take the exam with the knowledge that I knew what I was doing. I passed with only one error, surprising even myself! I have more confidence to go out and seek proofreading jobs and am grateful to Caitlin and her team for this program! Well worth the price.

This course provides you with all the necessary tools you need to be an excellent proofreader. You must take it into your own hands and hold yourself accountable to study the modules. If you can do that, you will find this course to be extremely beneficial. I feel confident going into this field of work.

The part of the course that centres on proofreading is thorough with lots of opportunity to practise your skills. There is also lots of support and a place to ask questions and gain insights. After passing the exam, I feel confident in my skills. The business side of the course is a bit lacking and leaves a graduate feeling a bit overwhelmed. It will tell you to build a website but won't give many insights on how to do this effectively. So to be a successful freelance proofreader likely involves enrolling in another course that specialises in freelancing.
