Hi Kelly! Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We are truly sorry for the distress and disappointment you and your family have gone through. What you described is heartbreaking to read, especially knowing how much love and excitement surrounded bringing Zane into your home.
International travel and extended transitions can unfortunately be very stressful for some cats, and it’s clear that the delays, communication gaps, and multiple moves did not align with the experience you were expecting or what we strive to provide. We deeply regret the emotional toll this has taken on your children, on you, and most importantly on Zane.
We sincerely appreciate the patience, care, and compassion you’ve shown him by following the 3-3-3 rule and giving him space and understanding. While every cat adjusts differently, we understand how difficult and discouraging it is to still see him struggling months later, especially after such a significant emotional and financial investment.
Your feedback is taken very seriously, as it highlights areas where we must continue to improve—particularly around communication, timelines, and setting realistic expectations for families, especially those with young children.
We would truly welcome the opportunity to speak with you directly, learn more, and see how we may be able to support you and Zane moving forward. Please feel free to reach out to us at [email protected]
at any time.
We are genuinely sorry that this experience fell short of what it should have been, and we wish you, your children, and Zane peace, healing, and progress in the months ahead.
