False advertising
Their marketing is filled with misleading and flatly false information. It is nothing more than a cell phone based walkie talkie that uses cell networks for its coverage. If you couldn't use your phone, these won't work either.

While they do utilize cellular networks, they operate differently than standard cell phones—providing instant, one-button communication without dialing, the ability to connect with individuals or groups at the same time, and often faster communication flow in team-based use cases. These are also private communications between authorized users on the same system. That said, they do rely on available service, and performance can vary depending on coverage in a given area. To help set expectations, we do offer a coverage map on our website so customers can review service availability before purchasing. We also offer our My Emergency Radio, which is a ham radio option for those looking for an alternative communication method.
