I wanted to get both retinoid and hydroquinone 4%, so before paying the consultation fee, I reached out to ask what I should do if I need both treatments for the same concern. Someone named Melody responded via email and advised me to include the request for the second treatment under the section “Do you have any further information you would like the doctor to know?” I followed the instructions and submitted my consultation accordingly. However, the provider only prescribed the retinoid and completely ignored my request for hydroquinone. Since then, I’ve reached out to them via email multiple times, but they have not responded. It seems they prioritize the profit more than the customer’s needs. Now, if I still want the hydroquinone, I’m told I have to pay for a new consultation, which feels unfair.

We understand your frustration and appreciate you bringing this to our attention Abdi. I want to sincerely apologize as it appears that we did not communicate the correct information to you. The patient does have the option to choose a second preferred medication in certain provider visits rather than putting a note in the additional information section. I do see that another one of our Patient Care Advocates has reached back out to the provider to have them send in that second medication for you. I apologize that we have not been better about communicating the status of that request. Please reach out to our Patient Care Advocates at 844-733-2697, and we would be happy to discuss your experience and answer any questions you may have. Thank you for your feedback—we truly value the opportunity to improve our service.

Mrs. Wright, NP was knowledgeable and helpful. She listened to my concerns and explained what would be best for my skin at this time as well as what might be best to do next. She was easy to talk with and also very professional, and the entire experience, from registering to scheduling to having the visit to getting the helpful Rx was easy.
