We really appreciate you taking the time to write this out. There's a lot here, and it's helpful.
First off, I'm glad you said what you did about the education and coaching. That's the foundation of everything we do at Replace Your Mortgage.
Now, on the other side of your feedback…
You're not wrong on some of the friction you experienced. Communication gaps, delays on the referral bonus, and feeling like support got harder to access after the first phase, that's not the experience we aim to deliver.
On your friend's experience, that one matters. We can have the best strategy in the world, but if communication breaks down, it kills trust. It looks like she scheduled an onboarding meeting with us, and we texted her, but we never heard back from her. If she's still open to it, have her reach out to support to her coach or support team, we'll make sure she gets taken care of.
On the referral benefit specifically, there was a period where we were rebuilding that system internally, and it created delays and confusion for some clients in getting started with that benefit. That's on us. I'm glad you eventually got taken care of, but it shouldn't have been that hard to begin with. That updated system is now up and running smoothly.
On coaching, we want to bring some clarity. Every client gets structured support upfront (onboarding strategy, bank guidance, etc.) before securing their line of credit, because that's where most of the heavy lifting happens. After those initial meetings as part of the program, ongoing 1-on-1 coaching access remains available only as part of the monthly coaching membership. (Pro tip - you can turn it on / off as you need it. Don't tell anyone we said that.)
The cost is purely to support the cost of continued, on-demand access to coaches. That said, your point is fair.
And lastly, on the Smart HELOC bank side, you're exactly right. It's a great product, and demand has been high, which has stretched some of those teams thin. We don't control their internal operations, but we are in communication with them and consistently passing along feedback like this.
Bottom line, you're doing the right things. You're in the strategy, you're implementing, and you're thinking critically along the way.
Appreciate the honest feedback. That's how we get better. Cheers to your success!
