If I could write a review with a star I would. When Gabby left, customer service has not been the same. Credit Unions are meant to be personal, a family like setting. I will be leaving after my Loan is paid off. Alicia refused to pay attention to my chats and tried calling me instead of chatting. Chat is there for a reason, if I wanted to talk I would’ve called

So I was grandfathered into this Credit Union because of my father and for the most part the tellers are good. But there’s one Stephanie. Stephanie has it out for me and maybe some other members as well. She’s condescending she talks over you and she couldn’t verify my voice once and threatened that she was going to hang up the phone call and I Pleaded with her to send me to another teller in which she did. That day was saved. She’s rude and next time I will just have to ask for a different teller. Because of this interaction, I would not be banking here unless I absolutely had to and right now I do. Until I can get everything transferred over to my other Credit Union.

1. It took 2 weeks for your team to figure out that my debit card was not working because it was never being activated. Was sent on a wild goose chase going back and forth "countlessl times" for 2 weeks. Was told to call a hotline number to activate and had to wait 24 hours several different times and still no results. Once the issue was finally figured out the only way to activate my card was to come inside the branch (in-person). Very, Very , Very inconvenient and should have been able to resolve it over the phone. Did not have access to my money for several days and spent several hours/days trying to get the problem resolved! 2. Safety concern: The Lynwood branch ATM setup IS NOT SAFE!!!!! The ATM is inside the swap meet with mininum security!!!! I would never put myself at risk using this ATM. Overall the crefit union is now sittjng in a bad location with low visibility and security. Very dangerous! 3. I strongly believe that RIZE is not considering their members needs when making decisions. RIZE is no longer opened on Mondays. Again, very inconvenient and not well thought out given that Mondays is the FIRST business day! 4. My Mother's. Issue: When attempting to access account over the phone, she accidentally put in the wrong password, it gets blocked. When she explained the problem over the phone the RIZE team claimed they'd fixed the isuue but when tryng to access the account it still did not work. My mither called back and the RIZE team rep will say its fixed again and still not fixed. She called 3 times and still not fixed. She had to drive in person to get issue resolved. Overall it is obvious that RIZE is not able to resolved some issues over the phone anymore. I'm seriously considering moving my funds and my family funds to another financial institution. Service has declined tremendously after the switch from SCEFCU TO RIZE!! Please take these concerns into consideration for improved, quality service and safety.

I would give a zero star but that would be unfair. Do not use this company. I inquired about using their services, Emilio was great explaining everything but I was hesitant to use a debt consolidation program. At the last minute I decided not to continue in the program. Rize still took money out of my account for their fees and payments. I called immediately once I noticed the money was missing and I have received the run around from both Adrian and Emilio about reimbursement of not only 1 payment but 2. Another scam which preys on people when they need a company like this the most.

Opened an account and tried for 2 days to transfer in $5K from another outside bank.. the same bank which originally funded my Rize account. First transfer attempt was immediately cancelled, call CS.. after 16 minutes was told they needed to reset my account and to try again in one hour.. waited until today to try again and was immediately placed on a "hold" pending my call.. 20 more minutes and I finally asked them to cancel the attempted tranfer. No explanation, no apologies.. just feel if they have a hard time transfering my money in, how difficult with they make it to tranfer out if I need it.. Staff was pleasant.. just everything requires the speak to the "back office" and place me on hold. Never an apologie or an explanation.. I'll bank elsewhere.

The costomer service was bad

This bank treats it's customers very poorly. Especially the Assistant Branch manager of the Irwindale Branch. Who will help you as long as it's not a Saturday and she has someplace to be. And they also charge you to count your change. I immediately moved my money to Kinectca FCU. Where at least I feel like they appreciate my business.

Hello I've been a customer of this credit union for more than 25+ years never had a problem until it became Rize. New set of rules implemented more customer do it yourself, automated & A.I. customer services less employees at branches to help or greet customers. Don't like the new direction rize management has made it difficult especially for elder customers. Rize has lost the human to human customer service care and I will be closing my accounts.
