I went on to roofingcalculator.com to see what information I could learn about choosing a roofing contractor. I found good info to ask prospective contractors and also found the measurements of my roof. The only downside was being contacted within seconds by roofing contractors by phone! I explained I wasn't ready to call anyone just yet but i wasn't happy to have unsolicited contractors call ing me. Maybe I missed something in the site what said they would call but I was surprised. Luckily only three called.

We got several quotes for a new roof, and each one had a vastly different cost. I used this app to see what general costs I could expect for my area (and for my specific home), and was pleasantly surprised and how quick and easy the process was! I also was able to schedule a few more estimates from other companies which was very helpful.

It was very easy, and for me that is essential. The calculator showed a photo of my property from above (drone?) , which estimated my square footage and then gave me estimates from high to low of what a new roof would cost.

Your application provided ‘choices’ - most do… their responses were prompt, moreover the companies provided- at least one offered excellent customer service- pleasantly professional, and they had ‘booties.’ Suggestion: offered services that require the professionals to enter one’s home should have ‘booties.’

Thank you for your thoughtful feedback! We're glad to hear the responses were prompt and that at least one of the companies provided excellent, professional service—booties and all. We also appreciate your suggestion about requiring indoor-entry professionals to use protective booties. That’s a great idea, and feedback like yours helps us continue improving the experience for homeowners. Thank you for using RoofingCalculator.com!
