What made the experience great was rovers set up to let you know when the sitter arrived, the sitters feedback and all the pictures the sitter took of my cat playing. Then they tell you when the sitter leaves. This is an unbelievable company. In my area my cat sitter Jessica made the experience for me. She responded quickly to any questions and my cat loved her.

I’ve used Rover for dog care for 4 years and each experience was great. I like the way the app is designed and feel it works well for both owners and caregivers.

The sitter was quick in replying so I could make arrangements and plan my trip. I felt comfortable when i arrived and get my Luna would be in good care. She sent me a couple of pictures throughout the visit. That was nice. It was a good experience. I would use this sitter again if I’m ever in that area.

Recently, I had a good experience, however prior to that I had a very bad one. I reached out to Rover with my concerns regarding a sitter with a fake profile and multiple of them, pretending to be a female vet tech when he is really a man. There are bad things about him on Facebook and other places which I found after the fact, my dogs came back with injuries (major hot spots/deep wounds). He did not communicate or send pictures. When I asked for my crate back, he left one out that was not mine, it was older and dirty. I did not feel comfortable arguing with him about it. This was a very upsetting experience. He leaves good reviews on his profile using his other fake accounts. It was very stressful to be out of the state not knowing if my dogs were safe given the lack of communication and very bizarre communication when I finally was able to reach him. This is what triggered me deep diving into his profile(s) and other online presence. Rover did not respond to my complaint. I do not feel heard or considered. I am still worried about what he is doing to the animals in his care.

Emily, our Rover dog-care provider was clearly an experienced dog-lover and dog-person. She sent us texts and pictures almost daily while she had Cosmo, reporting about what he's been doing. We felt very comfortable leaving him in her care and will do so again.
