About Run-Chicken

RUN-CHICKEN is a young and passion-driven startup, established in 2018 by an engineer with a vision. This technology-driven company focuses its production mainly in the development, design, and creation of utility products. Its vision for the future is to develop advanced technology in the energy field and impact all areas of science. Being a developing company, we are challenged every day to look beyond what already exists. RUN-CHICKEN utilizes the power of innovation in the process of creating a better human experience. And with that perspective in mind, we started creating and selling Run-Chicken Automatic Coop Doors. The Model T12 was our first product. Then, after a lot of customer feedback, we created the Model T40—a number-one seller on Amazon and RUN-CHICKEN’s website. This drove us to produce an even better product. With the help of our customers’ feedback and valuable information, we now present the new and improved Model T50. Along the journey of building and developing the RUN-CHICKEN brand, our team has grown into a team of many. We are all truly grateful for customers purchasing and using our products, and we hope that you will enjoy them for a long time. WE LOVE INNOVATION, WE LOVE IDEAS, AND WE LOVE YOU GROWING WITH US!

They sent us a defective door that never turned on. After reaching out to customer support we got basically interrogated- they made it seem like we had to prove to them that we weren’t doing something wrong even though it was their product. They asked us to do several things and send videos (and some were just ridiculous- wipe down the inside with an alcohol wipe? This thing is supposed to work in a chicken coop so if dust makes it stop working that seems like a quality problem). We contacted them June 26th and now finally it is July 9th (so literally two weeks later) and they told us they would send us a new part five days ago…. No part, no shipping confirmation, nothing. We are using this door for our dogs who will now have to spend a 13 hour day inside while I work because we don’t have a working door which we went to big trouble to get set up in the month before my new job. Very annoyed and disappointed with this company and product.

We’re very sorry to hear about the frustration this has caused , especially with the timing around your new job. We completely acknowledge how inconvenient and stressful this situation must be for you, and it’s absolutely not what we want any of our customers to experience. Regarding the troubleshooting process: we understand that some of the steps may have seemed unusual, but please know they’re not meant to question your ability or shift blame. Our goal is to rule out all possible causes quickly and accurately so that we can resolve the issue in the best way possible. The alcohol wipe suggestion, for example, is a standard sensor reset step , not because dust "should" stop the door from working, but because in rare cases, buildup can interfere with contact. As for the replacement part: according to our tracking system, the shipment is already on its way. You should receive a separate email with the tracking number shortly if you haven’t already. We’re following up internally as well to ensure everything is moving smoothly. Thank you again for your patience and for giving us the chance to resolve this. We know we’ve taken up too much of your time already, and we’re committed to making this right. Warm regards and wishing you a nice day
