Hi Andrea,
We definitely want to help get this resolved for you as quickly as possible, and the most important next step is to contact USPS right away using the tracking number that was provided to you. Since the passport was already approved, completed, and handed off for delivery, USPS is the only party that can locate the package or confirm if it was lost or misdelivered.
To clarify, your application was processed successfully and shipped out on time with no issues at all. Tracking was sent so the shipment could be followed in real time. Once it leaves our hands and is in transit with USPS, delivery is entirely handled by them. As much as we’d love to control what happens inside the postal system, that part is unfortunately out of anyone’s hands except USPS.
We did provide you with clear resolution options, including the ability to have the passport reissued. As explained, that process requires canceling the passport that was already issued, which is why we strongly advised confirming with USPS first before taking that step. That guidance was given specifically to avoid unnecessary delays or complications for you.
Regarding a refund, the service you purchased was fully completed. Your passport was processed, approved, and shipped within the promised timeframe. A delivery issue with USPS after the fact doesn’t change that, which is why a refund wouldn’t apply here.
I understand it’s frustrating when a package doesn’t arrive as expected, but the fastest way to move forward is by contacting USPS directly so they can investigate. Once they confirm the status, we can immediately help guide you on the next step if needed.
Let us know what USPS says and we’ll take it from there.
