Wow. Thank you so much for this kind review! We totally get the hesitation when ordering live plants online, and it means the world to hear that we exceeded your expectations. Our team takes a lot of pride in how we pack and care for each plant. We’re so glad you found us and can’t wait to send more trees your way in the future!

Thank you so much for this thoughtful review — it truly means a lot to us. We know how exciting it can be waiting on a restock, so we’re really glad we could keep you in the loop and make the process smooth. Hearing that this is your second order (and that you trust us!) makes our whole team smile. We can’t wait to send more trees your way when you’re ready!

You just made our whole team’s day (possibly our whole month). Thank you so much for the kind words! We’re thrilled your plant arrived safely and exceeded expectations. We’re a small, family-run business, and every kind review like yours truly makes a difference. Our team is so grateful for your support.

We take every piece of feedback seriously and always aim to make things right when something goes wrong — but in this case, we have no record of anyone by your name ever placing an order with us or contacting our team. We’ve thoroughly searched our database for any orders or communications involving Dogwood trees or Thuja Green Giants under the name Dave Haase and have come up with nothing. We’ve also reached out and kindly asked for additional information to verify your purchase, but we have not received any response. We’re a small business and pride ourselves on our customer service, including replacing plants when issues arise and working with customers to resolve concerns as best we can. But we also take false claims very seriously — especially when they impact the integrity of our company and the trust we’ve built with our community. If you are in fact a customer, we’d still love the opportunity to help. Please email us directly at [email protected] with your order number or the email address used at checkout. Otherwise, we respectfully ask that you remove or revise this review.

At the time of your order on June 13th, our guarantee period was 30 days (we now offer a 1-year guarantee). Your first message to our team came about 34 days later which placed it outside of the guarantee window. From the details provided during our follow-up, it appears the tree was being watered multiple times a day, including with fertilizer, and also by sprinkler. While watering is essential, overwatering (especially combined with frequent fertilizer) can unfortunately damage the roots of young trees. Our care guides recommend deep, less frequent watering to encourage healthy root growth. Both our previous 30-day guarantee (that your order was under) and our current 1-year guarantee cover plants that are damaged on arrival or die despite proper care. As noted in the guarantee, issues caused by improper care aren’t covered. We understand it’s disappointing when a plant doesn’t thrive, and we truly value the opportunity to help our customers succeed. We’ll continue to review our care resources so they’re as clear and helpful as possible for future plant parents.

We’re sorry to hear you felt disappointed and appreciate the chance to clear up a few points. Our cancellation policy, including the 5% processing fee, is shown right above the “Pay Now” button at checkout. This isn’t a penalty; it covers the non-refundable credit card processing fees we incur on every order, even when it’s canceled. Since we’re a small business, this helps us keep prices fair for all customers. And we do our best to clearly state this at checkout, in our terms of service, and in our cancellation and refund policies. We also note on our website that our team typically replies within 1–2 business days. We’re not able to monitor emails every minute, especially outside business hours, but we do our best to respond as quickly as possible. On tree sizes, we list the height range for each variety. If a plant falls outside that range, even by a couple of inches, we reach out before shipping to confirm you’re okay with it or to offer other options. We’d never ship something significantly shorter without that conversation first. We take transparency seriously and want every order to feel fair, clear, and handled with care. As a small business, we truly value your feedback and address every customer concern to improve our website and ensure customer satisfaction.

We’re so sorry to hear about your experience. This is absolutely not the kind of interaction we want anyone to have with us, and we completely understand your frustration. It sounds like your concerns weren’t handled with the care and clarity they deserved, and for that, we sincerely apologize. We believe our customer success team reached out to offer you a replacement fiddle leaf fig, but if you didn’t receive that message, please let us know. We’d still love the opportunity to make this right and hopefully give you the experience you should’ve had from the beginning. Thank you for the honest feedback! We’re listening, and we’re working every day to be better.
