Diane and her team at Sleep Doctor were excellent. She has decades in the field and explained everything to my wife and I. She walked us thru the whole process and made things seamless and easy for us. Her team member Ali also was very efficient at fixing a minor troubleshooting issue with one of our devices, simple phone call and she fixed things like magic. The whole team felt competent and was pleasant to work with. My wife and I are extremely happy.

For work, I needed to get an apnea diagnosis and start treatment as soon as possible. Through my regular doctor and insurance, I was looking at waiting two months for just an initial appointment, and likely at least another month before treatment could begin. With Sleep Doctor, it was one week for a diagnosis and one more week to start treatment.

With many mouth tape options available its hard for the average CPap user to try them all. Some are flimsy, some are too large or too small and some are so adhesive they are difficult, dare I say, painful to remove. Enter Sleep Doctor! I am delighted to report this is, at least for this male CPap'er of five years, the perfect solution. It is pliable, yet durable, exactly the right size, and vented to allow for a straw and sneeze exhaust.(very important) Plus, the Sleep Doctor folks are easy to deal with. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Their website is misleading. It makes you believe that they work on mostly any sleep problem. After I took a test, they told me during consultation that they pretty much work on sleep apnea only and suggested that I need to take in-lab sleep test. The quality of the analysis of my sleep was questionable at best as well. What a waste of time. Shameful. On a positive side, the person I spoke with was very polite.

Regarding the home sleep test, it is manufactured by ZOLL Itamar, is FDA-cleared specifically for the diagnosis of obstructive sleep apnea, which is its intended clinical use. Our role is to provide access to this testing, ensure appropriate clinical oversight, and connect patients with licensed providers who interpret results and guide next steps when sleep apnea is suspected. In some cases, depending on other or clinical factors, an in-lab sleep study may still be recommended when a broader or more comprehensive assessment is needed.
