Best Survey Tool – I began using SoGoSurvey a while ago when I started writing my master thesis and needed a survey-tool software to build my qualitative research and collect data for the respective analysis. Imagine my surprise when I realized that it was not only a free survey-tool software but also a great one, with excellent features, predefine design options, so the survey doesn’t look dull or boring, different distribution methods to reach out the audience, with superb data analytics and data management options, and much more. I am still using it for my research and I must say I haven’t experienced any issues so far, since the platform is friendly-orientated, the interface is convenient and simple, and the customer service and the support is topnotch. Additionally, the training videos are really good and they are easy to follow, in such a way, you always will feel “somehow” supported either by their excellent guiding material or their client support. To finish, allow me to say that SoGoSurvey is also a secure platform easily adjusted to the needs of its customers. I have found different features I didn’t even realize when I was starting my project, but I have been finding them on the go. I totally recommend it!

I reviewed SoGoSurvey one year ago when I was preparing for my qualifying examination as part of my doctoral degree requirements. I was initially using the Basic plan, which was upgraded to a Pro plan thanks to the SoGoSurvey team's generous support of my pilot study, which enabled me to collect high quality data to substantiate my research proposal and successfully pass my qualifying examination! :) Everything I wrote in my previous review still stands a year later, and on top of those, I must also specially mention the ability to do more sophisticated studies through branching logic (which is available in the Pro plan that was generously offered by SoGoSurvey) is really amazing. Also, as I was working through the creation of my study instruments and collecting data for my pilot study using SoGoSurvey, I did not experience any issue and never had to seek support because the entire interface was very well-designed and robust. My pilot study participants also reported that SoGoSurvey was easy to use and works well on any device. Having successfully conducted my pilot study on SoGoSurvey, I am now in the process of fully launching my dissertation's main study on their platform because I am fully confident that I can rely on them to collect data for the most important degree in my life. I am a researcher in the AP Capstone program, and I am under the guidance of a professor at the University of Texas at Dallas working on cognitive development. As many of you are probably aware, the nature of present-day college admissions processes is quite rigorous. As a student who is nearing this process in her own life, I was interested in learning about the validity of the common suggestion to avoid procrastinating one’s work in high school. I commonly find myself procrastinating while also succeeding in school, and I have observed this in many of my high-achieving peers, as well. Perhaps this is due to Parkinson’s Law (Parkinson 1945); this study will allow for that conclusion to be made. Unfortunately, procrastination is also hypothesized to have a strong association with Partial Sleep Deprivation (PSD), which can ultimately hinder the success of students, as well. It is known that college is seen by many as an investment and that many also seek a college education as a way to maintain a foothold in middle-class life. Therefore, should PSD show an association with procrastination, it is in the student’s best interests to be aware of that fact so that those bad sleep habits do not continue to manifest themselves within current aspirations and future resolves. In order to objectively gauge the extent to which affluent and academically-driven high school students observe the correlation between impulsive procrastination in academics and PSD via stress, the numerical correspondence between these variables must be established through a survey. As such, I have chosen SoGoSurvey to help me with the allocation of my data. Because of the nature of my research, I was interested in using survey software with a professional ultimate look. SoGoSurvey not only has an aesthetic final look, but its modern amenities provided for easy and quick usage by the survey maker. I was able to create my survey faster than I ever imagined. What's more, SoGoSurvey has tools that I wasn't even aware existed. For example, one nice touch is that SoGoSurvey tracks the number of survey email invitations that have been sent, delivered, and read, as well as the total number of responses. Still, the most beneficial tool for me was the fact that SoGoSurvey estimates how long your survey will take as you continue making it. Because of the convoluted nature of my expected participants' lives, I needed to keep my survey under 15 minutes and this tool assured me of that fact. Moreover, customer service was impeccable. My questions were answered quickly concisely and in a very timely manner. I am very impressed. The only downside is that I don't have full access with my free trial. But I know that I will be recommending this program to my peers in the AP Capstone program. Lastly, I am just now beginning to use SoGoSurvey's data tools. I am so happy with the fact that I can customize the way I want my data presented to me. The option for pictorial representations is available, too. I am so glad that I am able to do my research with SoGoSurvey.
