We’ve spent considerable time training our dog and she has it down pat, The issue is when we have to use the whistle or track feature because we lost sight of her. So better than 3/4 of the time it will not connect and although we live roughly, we have a solid and good cell signal. I would’ve expected a much higher level quality. Also the colar What’s up? itself is an uncomfortable vinyl.

Works welll for my dogs. I can keep them with me in the backyard now.

The collar is awesome and generally the fence works great. Here are couple of issues I have. There is a large tree in our back yard if the dog sprits through the fence line starting from under that tree the collar will not go off. The only other issue I have with the collar is the Bluetooth connectivity between the collar and the phone are not good at all. I will have the collar and the phone in the same hand and while trying to be connected to the collar to control it our change the settings the collar will lose connection quite often. Other than those two items everything else has been perfect.

We have been using the collar for over a year now and it seems to be pretty reliable. We do have issues with false warnings in our metal barn, but from what I have read about GPS, that's pretty typical. Other than that, I do have to be careful to get the prongs near the skin every time I put the collar on, since our newfoundland has a thick mane and the static correction doesn't phase him at all through his fur. We had an issue with our first collar not working properly and SpotOn Fence replaced it immediately. Since then, we recently had an issue with the collar breaking at the male end of the buckle and I must say, I was absolutely impressed with the speed in which they responded to my email (on a weekend nonetheless) and how quickly a replacement was sent. The customer service is top notch. Sometimes you truly do get what you pay for. It would be nice if the collar had a way to do a manual correction to help with other training issues, but overall, we are mostly satisfied with it and, again, have been very impressed with their customer service.

I have had a couple operator issues. When I contacted the company I received a quick, helpful reply that helped me accomplish what I wanted to with the collar. We also had a mechanical problem. They asked me to send back the collar. It was returned to me quickly in good operational order! The collar helps us know where our dog is and has helped her learn her boundaries!!

We have had a buried wire fence for years. We moved to a new home and put the latest version of that system in and have had zero issues. I cut the wire once with the tractor trenching a water line - but fixed it quite easily. Fast forward - we hires a company to do forest mulching around our home - A few acres worth and he said the wire wasn't buried deep and he would more than likely cut it. We were not too worried because with the newly open land - we were going bigger anyway. With the SpotOn return policy we figured we would try it out. We cut the slack on the collars today knowing we would not return these. This is better than the current (now broken) wired fence - yeah he cut that wire after two minutes of working. We had our already tested back up SpotOn collars already in place. We didn't even need to train our dogs! They already learned boundary corrections from the previous collars. Now they have clean open woods to run after the UPS truck. For reference the old collars were static correction only - we have the SpotOn set to vibrate and removed the "prongs". Going forward I realize I may have to replace a collar and not just a piece of a collar like my old system - but the pro side of that is I will at that time have the newest technology available!
