I have been trying to get a refund for months now with no reply. I applied well within the 30 days offer but nothing. Im sure this works for many people but its just not for me.

Craig Beck means well, but he also found a golden cow and is milking it aggressively. I watched his 30 minute video on YouTube and the very similar free webinar. It seems like a positive approach even though I didn’t like his Christian faith bashing comments about AA — believe me, I don’t like AA but faith isn’t the issue. Then he makes all kinds of claims to get you into the program as a huge cost saver. I don’t believe in his $6000 in total savings statement which reminds me a lot of TV merchandising methods. Sounds very creative. If you don't sign up he will send you a high pressure follow up email. It is really an email that works with shaming -- more guilt for being 'losers' or uncommitted -- that's just what people who struggle with alcohol need ... NOT. Why he is asking $600 for a pre-recorded 90 day online seminar (plus access to some material) for desperate people is beyond me. There needs to be a fee but not that much. He is also aggressively pushing people to sign up within 30 minutes after watching the free seminar. I like his anti drinking message but not his business methods.

I am sorry to hear you are unhappy with the marketing. As I have said before, I am happy to offer you a free membership. The course works and I really do want to help you with your drinking problem my friend.

I thought I would add to my original review as I've received a request from stop drinking ( I assume Craig Beck) for proof of purchase of the course. If my review had been read properly it would have been noted that I did not buy the course due to the issues with the webinar. It was not live. It's simulated live and immediately my hackles are up because it's pretending to be something it isnt. Here's a quote from Webinar Ninja (no, I don't know this guy/company from adam might I add) which puts things, I think quite succinctly. 'Then, there’s “simulated” live webinars. You create a presentation designed to look like it’s live, or just repackage a previous live webinar. But unlike a webinar replay, you register people who think it’s live — either because you told them so, or you just let them assume so. You might even have some chat going, remotely with you or entirely forged. You hope the audience buys it, along with whatever else you’re selling. Simulating your webinars is not the same thing as automating them. In fact, I think simulating your webinars can do more harm than good in the long run.' So my point to Craig Beck would be, if your product is so good, why introduce it in this fashion? Why not say it's a simulation and be honest. And the webinar itself seems incredibly contrived. I don't know who the 'participants' are but they are either Craig's converted 'disciples'...or it's all made up. Craig, with all this time he's had in lockdown, like the rest of us, could have spent this updating his 'webinar'. Perhaps do a fresh one every month, say it as such and say the other viewings will be recordings. Craig is a businessman and is out to make money , whatever he says, But his product could be ok. And fair play to him for coming up with something that seems to work (hey, that's what trustpilot say, eh). I won't be trying it though will read his free downloadable book -which is nice of him .This is Trustpilot and I'm saying it how I see it. I've given him an extra star on this review and that's for effort. But don't use smoke and mirrors to get people on your course, is my advice.

It's very disappointing that you would go to so much effort to bad mouth a service that saves lives. So, you don't like the marketing approach - I get that but to be so mean spirited and nasty towards a service that you have not tried and does so much good it's a real shame. Best of luck with your search for an answer.

Nothing new. Just told to stop Answer to your reply I downloaded the pdf not audio book because I am deaf. You only want to advertise your motivational seminars Answer It is not a nasty review. Let others judge. Besides motivational seminars don't help otherwise there will be no AA etc.

Teik Oh ([email protected]) You bought only the audiobook, didn't even download it and then leave a nasty review. I am disappointed you decided to do this. Only you will know exactly why.

I loved the first book filled with good information. Paid life-time membership and feel like I am in a group where only a few succeed and there is very little input from Craig except to welcome new members. It would be nice to get “new fresh” messages or challenges because the repeated message holds very little power after you have heard it over and over. I do love Alcohol Lied to Me, and the FB group but I am still drinking after starting my membership 2 years ago and do not see that my membership has paid off for me.

This program was not a good experience for me. I didn't expect the long gaps between content, thought that was not accurately described, and then when I asked for a refund, there was no response whatsoever. I sent two more follow-up emails, and finally had to file a complaint with Paypal to get the requested refund. I do not recommend this program. A lot of what you pay for is available for free on his Youtube channel, and despite numerous promises that you can contact him and that he is responsive, that was not my experience at all, and getting the refund his site promises was impossible without escalating to a complaint with Paypal, which did deliver the refund. Not recommended.

I found the course to just be an audible version of the book. The private Facebook group were helpful... but I just don’t use Facebook. However, I like the hypnotherapy recording.

I am not really sure what you are talking about. There are 90 days of videos, exercises and instruction. How can it be an Audible version of the book? Were you a member?
