I'm very sorry to hear that you're dissatisfied with our service. Your frustration is understandable and we do sympathize.
I'd like to offer an explanation for what we believe may have been the source of the issue you're experiencing based on both our recent and past conversations.
When you originally contacted us in 2021, it was in regards to the older balance ripping the pivot bars out of position. This kind of issue is most commonly attributed to an unbalanced in spring calibration relative to the weight of the sash, and our research pursued that theory.
Considering the damage to your sash before, and the damage to your pulley blocks more recently, we think that maybe the issue might something far less : the length of the balance was not appropriate to your sash size.
To summarize, we believe what was happening originally was that the cord was just short of the full travel it needed to close the sash. It may have been enough to close the sash all the way, but each time it closed, we theorize that it was causing excess strain on the full assembly.
For the first balance, this broke the sash. With the new balances, the strain instead went to the pulley block, which are universally made of plastic. Each time the sash closed, the cord, lacking appropriate length, pulled on that block. Despite seeming to operate normally, the stress of frequent use eventually proved too much and began to damage the blocks.
This is a very unfortunate situation and next to impossible for either of us to predict. I'm afraid that we have no way of determining the correct size without access to window manufacturer records.
The only solution we can offer is to lower the installation point; with the balance sitting lower in the side track, the cord will have enough travel to close without excess strain. That should solve the issue. This however is a very labor intensive retrofit and will require a small degree of trial and error.
Again, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and frustration. Please call us at 888-991-1929 to discuss further.
