Great service and value. Helped us slay the multi-state sales tax dragon in a matter of months in 2018/2019 for both streamlined and non-streamlined states. Happy to recommend!

no service at all.

Hi Peter - We'd enjoy the opportunity to address your concerns. You seem to be leveraging our state paid service with some non-member states turned on as well. Please be more specific on your concerns and we will try to address. Thanks!

TaxCloud works as it should. Once you setup everything, they will take care of the rest!

Thank you for the review!

Good for the most part. Sometimes if the api can't connect with the servers, the tax rate is missed and doesn't collect correctly. Or occasionally the tax rate is wrong. For the most part the system works. I wish there was a better way to integrate in refunds or partial refunds. Seems those are still a manual process for us....

Hi Matt - We appreciate your review. If you can provide us examples of where you believe rates are wrong we're happy to look into it. Doesn't happen often as we get audited by the states. Regarding returns, are you using our returns API? Both use cases you mention can be addressed via that API.

One of our sites just doesn't work right. TaxCloud has us send a list of transactions the website has captured and they process it at the end of the month. The other site works ok now, but it took a while to get going. We had a "special need" earlier this year and TaxCloud worked on it - and somehow ended up registering us with a variety of state sales tax offices using one of customer's addresses!

Thank you for sharing your feedback and for bringing these concerns to our attention. We’re truly sorry to hear about the challenges you faced back in 2020, and we understand how frustrating these situations must have been for you. Since then, we’ve spent the past two years modernizing and relaunching updated versions of our integrations to ensure they work seamlessly for our customers. These updates have been well-received, as reflected in the many positive reviews from 2024 highlighting improved functionality and reliability. Additionally, we’ve refined our processes to prevent errors, like incorrect state registrations, and have expanded our team to provide better, more responsive support. While this review reflects an experience from several years ago, we’d love the opportunity to demonstrate how much has changed and how committed we are to delivering a top-tier experience. Thank you again for your feedback—it’s helped us grow and improve over the years. Best regards, The TaxCloud Team
Justin
I can’t get it to work!

Thanks for the detailed review. You went live with us 2 months ago. Have you tried to engage with our support team? Seems a bit odd to leave a bad review with no detail at all.

Awful company!! Awful service!! Their technology doesn’t work and created a nightmare for our company with tax reporting.
