I generally enjoy planning my own trips, but with a last-minute trip driving around Scotland, I was feeling a little overwhelmed. I decided to bring in an expert and booked a 45-minute trip consultation with Hugo. He was incredibly helpful in sorting out my day-by-day itinerary, as well as offering some great suggestions for off-the-beaten-path attractions and hikes. (Hugo is a guide, mountaineer, historian, and more!) He really took the time to understand what I wanted out of this trip. I will definitely use this service again, and if you’re going to Scotland, book a consultation with Hugo!

I booked an itinerary review with Carlotta and honestly it was so worth it. I sent her my itinerary beforehand so she'd already looked at it before our call, which made a big difference. The best part was the personalised map she pulled together for us with all her local recommendations. Driving routes, spots to stop for lunch or a swim on the way, hikes, she even sorted us out with the best value bike hire. I do a LOT of research before trips (Instagram usually) but this is real local advice - the kind of stuff I just never would have found on my own. Saved us time and money and gave us some amazing hidden gems. Would 100% book again!

I wanted to see Rome through the lens of a local, and avoid getting caught up in the tourist zones. Given the whole city is one big archeological site, that’s not easy to do. The local I met through The Voyage mapped out walking routes, where to eat, and where to hang out with locals. Made for a far richer experience.
