The Unit1 Torch is a great backpack BUT...…
The Unit1 Torch is a great backpack that I was really looking forward to receiving. It is a little on the small side and is not a replacement for a larger backpack but a nice, well designed office/work bag. However, the experience was soured when I was adviced by the delivery company that UK VAT would have to be paid onto of a handling charge despite the website and the order form stating tax was included. This was an additional £58 on top of an already expense, all be it discounted item. I did consider refusing to pay and just asking for my money back but I went ahead and paid. Considering I got it in the sale at £200 this made it ultimately more expensive to me than the full priced item in Europe - and the full priced item for the UK would be over £300. This is eye watering and I can not recommend it for this price. Make it £150 shipped to the UK or maybe a bigger version for £200. Finally, if you say tax is included then it should be - as a newish company be honest. I told you of this problem weeks back yet you are still advertising as shipped to the UK tax paid! Another star lost 😔
