Bob and Eric know what they’re doing. This may have been a “simple” install of just one window but they showed up ready to go, and finished in about an hour. They were friendly, helpful with info regarding care for the window for the first 24 hours, and left the site cleaned up - you wouldn’t know they were even there except that the NEW window doesn’t show condensation from leaking gaskets. And I could tell from the way Bob and Eric communicated with each other that they are buds - so there isn’t any of that “office” crap going on. We have more windows in the near future - hopefully Bob and Eric will handle that install as well.

From meeting with people at Columbus Home and Garden, salesperson Joshua Knolle, and Steve and the installation team, very professional and well knowledgeable. All on time and very helpful.

This review gets 5 stars for my installers, not for my experience with universal windows direct. Let me give a little background…I had someone come and was impressed with the quality of the windows and excited about the free upgrade to triple pane windows. I signed up on the spot! Unfortunately I did not receive the upgrade. Customer service was absolutely nonexistent. I was promised one thing but in all the fine print on the contract it was not delivered. Even better (sarcasm is an underrated skill set) no one would even call me back! Despite this problem, Carlos and his team did a marvelous job installing the windows. The installation was the highlight of my experience. They were courteous and professional. It is a shame they are not also in charge of customer service… if they were I am sure that I would be satisfied with my entire experience. Update: 4/16/24. I did finally receive a response from Uwd. They offered to give me a quote to repurchase the windows I just installed…. So read every last line item if any contract and make sure you get a copy immediately that clearly details what you are getting. At least Natasha had the good grace to apologize for the discrepancy between what I was promised and what I received. Still, caveat emptor!

Caleb did an outstanding job installing my windows. He was very professional and has an excellent work ethic. I highly recommend him if you want the job done right. Jordan who teamed with Caleb was also an efficient worker. He was polite, got right to work and cleaned up well after completion. Universal Windows Direct is lucky to have these 2 men working for their company.

Brandon came into our home and was very knowledgeable about his products. After a very thorough sales pitch we have decided to give our business to Universal Windows Direct. We are hoping the installation and longevity of the product are as good as Brandon was.

Second go round with Universal and pretty much a good experience. Installers did a fantastic job. They even answered some additional questions I had. The window order itself didn’t take long either. Only hiccup was this time around we did financing and the 1st payment was so before the windows ever came to the warehouse. That wasn’t disclosed and when I called they said it was standard. I contacted both the financing company and universal themselves. If it’s standard why not disclose that then?

Nate, Nate, and Parker did a wonderful job with the installation. Explained things along the way and answered any question I had. Did a great job with clean up both inside and out. I could not be happier with my new windows and the complete process. Those three are a great crew and great representative for Universal Windows Direct !!
