AVOID THESE CROOKS AT ALL COSTS!! IT HAS TAKEN 5 MONTHS TO GET A WEBSITE THAT DOES NOT FUNCTION CORRECTLY. KEVIN IN CUSTOMER SERVICE IS VERY RUDE. HE HAS AN "I DON'T CARE" ATTITUDE. YOU WOULD THINK THAT CUSTOMER SERVICE CARES. NOT TRUE WITH KEVIN. THEIR MONEY GRABBING TACTICS ARE SOMETHING TO BE LOOKED IN TO. VERY, VERY POOR.

I found Uptown Logo on a web search and went with them for a small business logo development a couple of years ago. I had firm ideas, but needed someone with better art skills to flush it out for me. After many weeks we settled on a design, not really in the direction I wanted to go, but a workable design. I never recieved the design in a usable format - web banner/letterhead,/email signature/ invoice heading. I only received a finished business card design. After a year, Uptown reached out to me and strongly suggested I copyright my logo so it would be mine. I agreed and paid for the copyright...receiving a 'formal' certificated of registration. A year later when I went to my file to access my work, it was locked down. I reached out to Uptown and they told me my copyright had expired. My certificate incidently, has NO expiration date on it. Uptown wanted another $705-$1250 to unlock my designs. I told them that was conisderably more than my original cost. They told me it was not them, but the US goverment requiring this. I was told this was a requirement from the US Patent and Tradmark Office. I phoned the USPTO and they told me they had nothing to do with copyrights. They assured me my logo was not with their office and if at all, it would be with the US Library of Congress who handles copyrights. I searched the Library of congress for my copyright and it was not there. My certificate lists 'Global Registry Forum as the office of filing. A quick google search for GRF shows that such an organization does not exist, and there is no history of ever existing. Upon a hard/close review of my 'certificate', I find that the official seal has misspelled words in it! Clearly from someone who is English Language challenged. All this to say, BEWARE --- these people are crooks. A little bit of work to lure you in, then SNAP, you're on the hook and they will suck you dry if you let them. Luckily for me, this was a personal / private endeavor, so I was able to just cut ties and take it as another crook stealing from me. Live and Learn. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FULL OF HORRIBLE HUMAN FLESH.

Terrible company. I reached out a few years later for them to unlock my account and they wanted to charge me another $125 to do this so that I could access the logo that I had already purchased. What a scam.

These guys are the BIggest " NEO CHEATERS " they destroyed my last $30,000 USD from june 2018 to june 2020 .2 years they dragged me through the MUD developing a running game APP & Website. promise after promise i was passed around the office like a fool. I made the mistake telling this GRUB Mr Clyde Shelton ( Game Developer ) that i suffer from Anxiety & Depression and he played on it the Mongrel, Excuse after excuse ! I would never trust anything written here by Customers i belive they set up by their own staff ! i have many mental health issues because of this ! I have been suicidel because these BAD EVIL PEOPLE ! I cannot believe they are still in business ! taking peoples money. KARMA CURSE on them .. they destroyed my life ! ASK LOWDOWNLOGO FOR A SIGNED CONTRACT before doing any work! They won't provide any such document. Never ever! They are in a foreign country with a bank account in California...scam scam...read on I am writing my second review about this company. I would like to notify everybody that a lot of positive reviews about UPTOWN on here are not real. They do this to pump the company up. They are in Pakistan but have a bank account in the US. I am still trying to get my money back through my bank. They lied about doing any work for me. If you read some of the good reviews they are probably some people with American sounding names in Pakistan or some of their other cronies. (Tom, Rebecca, Jason ect.)Caution and beware. This company will suck you in with the cheap logo and then will get you to purchase a website package. And then they will hold you hostage. The company originally did a logo for me which turned out fine. After attempting to revamp my website, I figured I would contact them to see if they could do this task for me. In reading reviews on trust pilot and from the Better Business Bureau I find out that they have certain complaints. Initially when I contacted them they said it would be two to three or possibly four days to update my website. I gave them a $500 payment to complete the site. They NEVER did work on my project, partly from delays on my end. After reading reviews I decided to cancel our agreement. I would now like to state the most important point of this review. Up town logo refuses to sign ANY form of contract or even give you a receipt of the job that they will be doing (after payment). I was verbally told three times that I would receive some sort of contract stating what they were going to do. It was just one of the things that scared me away from having them do my project. The last time I talked to Tom, he stated it would be two to three weeks before the website could be completed. That's the main reason why I backed out. This just didn't add up. It was way beyond a fish smell with Uptown logo! I am writing this review to warn other people of possible issues that could arise from this business, and to warn others about the most important part of this company's business practices. I also don't believe they are in the US. They State they are in California. When you talk to him on the phone it sounds like a boiler room. I believe they are in India. Or some other country. They told me three times that they would sign a contract and give me something in writing. After reading the reviews of how they take your money and then ask for more money I decided to back out. I have filed a claim with my Bank of America. That could take up to 45 days. I did tell them I was going to write this review if I did not receive my refund and they never responded by email yet. I will eventually get my refund and I just wanted everybody to know my experience with this company. Update: They finally respond from December 27. Wow! Still waiting on my refund. Update: March1st 2021. So this scam company finally responded. They denied my claim and sent messages from an Aug. 2019 logo they did for me ($139). They also changed their name from (Design company) to their current name. From their Sept. 30 2020 login id to my site it is apparent, They are in PAKISTAN and opened a bank account in California. This claim is ongoing! Update:March. So this company submitted documents to my bank stating this was a for a logo they created. LIAR LIAR!!! They did a small for $139 logo 1.5 years ago. Very deceitful. I faxed 60 plus documents from my bank to show the p-trail. I want my money back!!!

This company is the worst. I do not recommend using them at all. It is has been over a year and they have not completed a simple application for me. Instead they have asked for more money and have not delivered ANYTHING. They say they are going to transfer my call to the financial department but instead they hang up on me and do not return any phone calls. They offer a 100% money back guarantee yet do nothing to ensure that. I started working with them in June 2019 and as of Sept 2020 have not been given anything. THIS COMPANY IS A FRAUD!!!!!! I am now seeking legal counsel and hope this company stops stealing money from people.

EVERY POSITIVE REVIEW YOU SEE IS FAKE! When you first begin service with them, they make you do a review at the beginning of engagement! They are liars and thieves! They are totally untraceable and they like it that way! They all have fake names. They have a UK address along with a US address and both are bogus! YOU WILL LOSE EVERYTHING. YOUR TIME, MONEY AND ENERGY! It's time to put a stop to this! Moving forward, If they want to do business with you, ask them one question: " CAN WE DO A ZOOM MEETING OR A FACE TO FACE MEETING PRIOR TO YOU SIGNING" That will give you your answer if you can do business with them!
