We live in a rural area with no access to WiFi so we called ViaSat to schedule installation. They were supposed to come yesterday between 2-5 p.m. They called at 4:30 to say it would be after 6:00. They then called at 7:30 to say they would be there in 30 - 40 minutes! Who installs a satellite in the dark AND it was raining. We said just forget it. This is a total red flag.

Abysmal "customer service" and lackluster, at best, "technical support". I cancelled my service with these people after 7 years, finally had enough. I was using it for internet and wifi calling (I live 6 miles out in the mountains). Paid extra for that "easycare" garbage they shill and still couldn't get a tech to my house. The final straw came when the modem started dropping offline and losing power. Switch outlets, check voltage at outlets etc, no issues. No external damage to wiring visible, no splitters, direct line from dish to modem. Spent a month of calls (oh try this and call us back, now try this and call us back) and "customer support" chats and I finally got a service call. However, since my wifi was down - read that as no phone service as well, the tech not only didn't show up on the day he was supposed to, he called my wife's phone and left her a nasty message - "since you didn't bother to call and confirm your appointment, you have to reschedule because I'm not even in the area anymore". Mind you, the call came in at 1:30 pm, 30 minutes before said service call. I cancelled same day. Had that "tech" or the "customer care" bothered to read or even take notes, they would have seen that this customer has NO phone service without wifi so I can't actually call unless I want to drive for an hour round trip to get to town. Avoid these people like the plague if you can. They suck. I would give them negative stars if I could.

This is the worst internet provider I have ever had! I would have to reboot the modem about 4-5 times a week! Was not fast down loading. Plus they robbed you blind!!
