VIOFO was built on a simple belief: a dash cam should feel like part of the car—not a bulky gadget—and it should stay reliable, delivering clear evidence when it matters most. At a time when the market was filled with bulky designs, unreliable batteries, and poor video quality, we stepped in to solve the problems others ignored. We moved beyond intrusive suction cups to create compact, discreet dash cams that blend seamlessly into your vehicle. We were among the first to introduce supercapacitor-based models, replacing traditional batteries for greater reliability and safety in extreme heat. And by continuously integrating advanced Sony sensors and HDR technology, we ensure drivers capture clear, dependable footage—day or night.
VIOFO (viofo.com) has 318 customer reviews on Folks Told, with an average rating of 4.7 out of 5.

Good Camera with nice quality. Easy to install. With the additional HK-6 kit, you have a lot of settings to adjust and prevent empty car batteries. Even the support is great if there is a need to contact them!

I am truly impressed with the response and helpfulness of the customer service. It was quick and well done. In today's world it's refreshing to find a company that actually has good customer service. Josie, the representative that helped me, was great. On customer service alone I would definitely recommend Viofo. As far as the cam goes, although I have only had and used it for about a month, I'm quite satisfied with the A119 V3 that I bought. Other than the SD card which wasn't included I feel that it provided me with everything I needed to get going. Thanks for that. Like everyone that wants to buy and use a dash cam I read lots and lots of reviews before choosing Viofo. And I'm glad I did. My problem was in using the wrong SD card to begin with. Once I changed it for the Viofo 128 Industrial card the problem was solved. Get the right tool for the job I guess. I hope the cam continues to operate as well as it does for a long time. While it probably doesn't perform as well as a cam that costs hundreds of dollars, I'm still very happy with it and it does exactly what I got it for at, obviously, a much more reasonable price. I appreciate the ease with removing it from my car and how unobtrusive it is when mounted. I'm certainly satisfied with my whole experience so far and I would definitely recommend purchasing a Viofo to anyone else looking for a quality dash cam. And, one more time, I'm really impressed by the excellent customer service.

I had to get my windshield replaced, and the technician who completed that service ripped my dashcam off the windshield before letting me remove it myself - the adhesive they gave me afterwards was generic double-sided tape. Anyone who has ever been to Texas when it's hot knows that it won't hold anything for long. I reached out to customer service to figure out what to use instead, since I didn't have another piece of adhesive that came with the camera. They were quick to get back to me, and were super helpful (and fast) about getting me more adhesive. They followed up with each step of the process, so I never felt like I was in the dark about where I was in the replacement phase. I have zero reservations about reaching out to them again for anything.

I purchased a VIOFO A129 Dual Channel 5GHz Wi-Fi Full HD Dash Camera. After a few years, my camera has stopped responding. I contacted support and received excellent assistance until the problem was fully resolved. I'm recommending Viofo because their products are reliable and their support is outstanding. BTW, I own two A129 Dash Cameras.
