I scheduled a walk and the walker never showed up but the app showed that they were on a walk.
I scheduled a walk and the walker called to say she was lost. I gave her directions. Soon after the app showed that my dogs were on a walk and she even marked that my dogs had peed twice. I got home while they were supposedly still walking and my dogs were still home. She never came. I contacted wag and they stated that the would refund me and make sure I never got her again as a walker. They refused to release her. They stated that her phone had died and she couldn't find my place....this argument makes no sense! How can GPS track her if her phone died and how can she mark where they peed if her phone died. It is unacceptable that they would keep someone on as a walker that has completely lied and possibly cheat another customer. I just looked at her reviews and she did this to others too!!!!!

Wishing I read the terrible reviews before I used Wag!
Really wishing I read all the other horrible reviews before I used this app.
Luckily, I have not had as horrible of an experience as others have, but I'll share anyway:
My pup usually goes to work with my boyfriend, but on the days that she stays home, I get her a walker. Sometimes I don't know when she's staying home until the day before or day of, which is where the on-demand aspect really seemed useful.
I struggled from the get-go with getting walkers to show up on time and be reliable. The longer I used the app, the more often I had issues getting a reliable and timely walker. Worst part, the customer service is terrible.
Example: I had a scheduled and confirmed walk for 11am. The walker never showed up, and the company didn't bother to contact me and inform me that my walk didn't go as scheduled. Instead, they scheduled me with another walker for 12:30pm, in hopes that I wouldn't notice/contact them. Sorry, but with my pup, timing is so important. I had to actually pester them for an answer/acknowledgement to why my walker was a no show!
After my experiences, and those I've read on here, I'm shopping for a new dog walking service.

Walker stole from us...
This was our first time using wag. If I could give zero stars, I would. First, the walker came in and didn't walk the dog. She texted us saying the dog just wanted to play so she didn't take him out. The purpose of this service is to WALK YOUR DOG. Second, the woman stole from us. She commented about our record player and albums (which, at the time seemed innocent enough), but now we are missing some of our most valuable albums.
Do not trust this company. Do not let them in your house.

Do not trust this terrible company
This is one of the worst experiences I have ever had, almost ridiculously so. I was offered 3 free walks - fine. It is a lot of trust to hand over our house keys to strangers, so this is a good way for this company to gain my trust to enter my house and take care of my baby.
When I received the Wag lockbox, I received incorrect codes. I got a 3-digit code for a lock that required 4 numbers - and two sets of them.
I booked the first walk, and then tried to open the lock, to which I spent about 10 minutes of my time trying to figure it out, and then asked my husband to figure it out. I then spent 30 minutes in my garage trying to find MY own lockbox, and contacted customer service that I would use mine - since I could not EDIT my reserved walk with new information. (The application itself is terrible).
Customer support said they would edit my walk to reflect my new code, don't worry! But they did not edit it, and the walker could not get in.
They apologized profusely (this is a trend in their company), and that MY lockbox information was now for sure in the system!! It was NOT.
Then some Susannah texted me and said she would book my second walk. I said OK - even though I was severely unimpressed with this company so far. (I mean, I have received numerous "we've had issues" in texts just for one walk). I was leaving for London, and decided to book a walk on the day I left.
By the time I checked my texts during my vacation - TWO WALKS HAD BEEN SCHEDULED THE SAME DAY, the first walker couldn't get in (of course), but somehow figured it out.
My dog was walked twice on the same day, he had DIARRHEA from these idiot strangers in my house, and the cherry on top: I was charged $15.
Worst application interface - cheap and no development; really stupid customer support; and a company that has access to your credit card, charging it incorrectly. AND MY DOG GOT SICK.
WORST COMPANY.

Three weeks abroad
my wife and I recently took a three week vacation. Our golden retriever, Riley, was boarded during our absence. We had Tim from Wag take Riley on one hour walks three or four times a week. It was all set up so that we could enjoy our vacation abroad and still have our pooch given breaks from the kennel and fresh air and fun. It was Great to know that she was well taken care of while we were gone.

They take really good care of my boy and I love having them as an option if I have a crazy Friday or Saturday planned.

Non attentive service and high cancellations!
Wag set up a meet and greet with a walker that didn't show up. Wag was supposed to find me another walker (one more reliable). It's been over a week and they still haven't found a replacement. Poor customer service
