This is the cheapest virtual doc visit I've been able to find- I was in need of a prescription ASAP and decided to give it a try. I had to wait about 45 minutes to get the phone call, but the call was quick and easy and I had my meds soon after. If you're in a pinch and need something quick and cheap, definitely try it. However, I definitely would not use this service for more complex issues. The doc I had was very short and did not seem very thorough. This worked for my situation, but may not be ideal for others.

I went online yesterday morning around 11am, which happened to be a Sunday and St Patricks Day. I received a call back in about 15 mins and I explained my symptoms and was prescribed a 10 day course of amoxicillin. Cost was $39.95,.plus $4.89 for meds. I do not have insurance. The Minute clinic at CVS Pharmacy, which I use go to, would charge $129 and do nothing but look in my nose, ears and throat and take blood pressure, only to prescribe the same. It was definitely worth it. I highly recommend for the uninsured..

I have already suggested this to family members. This is the most relaxed I've ever felt getting help from a medical professional. Definitely beats going to the urgent care or emergency room for such a common & easily identified problem.
