Wild Idea Buffalo is unlike any other meat company. We began with a vision of actually improving the eco-system of the Great Plains. Our buffalo are raised on the wide open spaces of South Dakota where they eat only the native grasses beneath their feet. They spend their whole lives roaming freely on thousands of acres, and never see a feedlot or slaughterhouse. The result is better lives for the bison, the restoration of over 100,000 acres of the prairie, and sweet, delicious red meat that is actually good for you. Not such a wild idea after all!

Everything came when my dad said it would. All still froze and in good shape. We will be serving some of it up over the holidays. Afterward, we will write more about the taste and texture, and the entrees we used for the feast.

Your bison products are amazing. I recommend Wild Idea to all my friends. The quality of the meat is fantastic. I am an avid cook and love trying new things and use bison in place of all kinds of meats. Thank you for producing such a great product.

WE LOVE BUFFALO MEAT IN OUR HOME. I MAKE A KILLER MEAT LOAF WITH GROUND BUFFALO MEAT, THAT I WILL BE MAKING FOR CHRISTMAS DAY THIS YEAR. WE ATE THESE BURGERS (4 - 1/4 LB PATTIES.) THE DAY MY SHIPMENT ARRIVED, & THEY WERE OUTSTANDING! SUCH A RICH, FLAVORFUL, ALMOST SWEET, & VERY TENDER MEAT!!! I WILL DEFINITELY BE BUYING MORE BUFFALO MEAT FROM THIS COMPANY.

Bought some different buffalo meats to try it out. Very tasteful at a fair price. The only thing to mention is the 5 pound ground buffalo came as one frozen block and was a bit hard to separat into smaller portions.

We have sporadically ordered Wild Idea meat for about a decade. At first overnight shipping was included in the price. The meat always arrived frozen. As shipping costs rose, shipping was no longer included and began to arrive after 2 or 3 days. A couple orders arrived half thawed which was unfortunate. However our order this time arrived with completely frozen meat. We have already had a couple meals of it and enjoyed them immensely. It always feels good to buy buffalo meat from Wild Idea. We will order more soon.

I could not say enough about this place and the people who work there!! The buffalo is very tender and delicious!! I have been ordering from them for years and I am always excited for my next shipment!! I am making a buffalo roast tomorrow!!! The customer service is superb!!! They answer emails in a timely manner, always answer their phone quickly, and are always super helpful with any questions I have ever had about cuts, cooking methods, recipes, etc. Overall very nice, friendly, helpful, caring for their customers kind of business!! I have been trying to convince everyone I know to buy from them but the cost seems to scare people away. I won't lie...buffalo is pricey..it is everywhere...especially the high quality grass fed buffalo. You get what you pay for! To me, I think paying the higher price is worth my health...love that it is so healthy, lean, and full of vitamins!!! a+++ to Wild Idea Buffalo!!!
