We post below a few more reviews that we recently received on other review sites:
This was the first time we ever ordered a reproduction painting ( or any painting online), but we are so glad we did! It came out absolutely spectacular! The photos don't do it justice. We were a little nervous because of the size we ordered. It is about 6 feet tall but fits perfectly in the space. The quality of painting is incredible and looks so true to the original. We would not hesitate to buy another painting.
I love the painting! I basically saw a postcard with a beautiful Marsh scene, I took a picture of it and emailed it in. They did not have much to go on, but the result is beautiful. It really makes the room!
I've just had my reproduction painting framed and will soon hang it, along with a companion piece, also a reproduction. I'm so very pleased with the art and with 1st Art Gallery. I will be ordering more pieces from them. It took less time than expected to arrive and was shipped safely in a well protected tube. The art itself is wonderful quality! The framing gallery was envious of the painting and all expressed a desire to order from 1st Art Gallery after seeing it. Given how much art they must see, I think that's a true testimony of the quality right there. I couldn't be happier!!!!!
I was so happy receiving our oil reproduction of a John Gris painting of Picasso. It by far exceeded my expectations. It is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! It is exquisitely painted, with every brushstroke done to perfection. It was packaged well and the company was wonderful communicating the progress of the creation. I will be ordering again! If you see something you like do not hesitate to make a purchase! Janet
I have recently purchased 3 different copies of Gustav Klimt's major works from 1st Art Gallery. They all have exceeded my expectations in quality and have exhibited excellent parallels to the original works of art in color, scale and composition. I am eager to explore some of the other offerings from 1st Art Gallery in the near future. Thank you, Jim S.
Amazing piece of art. We are so happy with the wonderful job. We own three pieces from this site. All of them are part of decoration of our beach house; our guest always mentioned the art pieces in their reviews. The colors of each of the pieces are great complement to our furniture and decor of the house. Thank you for such a fine and delicate work
I eluded to this work in a previous testimonial I wrote on April 27th this year. Needless to say, I was not disappointed with this custom work when it arrived !! The clarity and attention to detail in reproducing Walter Paget's "Birth of the Irish Republic" is fabulous and more than I could have wished for in such a complex color scheme, on canvas. As other's have mentioned, the ultimate compliment I can give is to submit another order, which I just did - for 5 more reproductions !! I'm sure there will be many more to come ! Best Rgd's John.
As a matter of interest I recently ordered and received an oil on canvas painting called "Boy with Torn Hat." The painting I ordered was delivered to my home in a timely fashion and I find it to be quite lovely. I have sent it out to be framed and look forward to getting it home again. I apologize that I am unable to send you a video or photo. yours sincerely William Arbuckle
In two words - ecstatically happy !!! A little background here ..... I ordered a custom reproduction of a very intricate black and white drawing from my childhood which I knew would be difficult to reproduce with an oil medium. The communication from John and his team at 1st Art, was excellent throughout the entire process including providing a review of the item before shipment, and the incorporation of changes if required. Which brings me to this painting which I have always loved since my teens; Antonio Ciseri's Ecce Homo; I decided to go a head and order this "stock painting" which arrived as the "custom" work was being painted. What a great decisions this turned out to be. The artistry, attention to detail and close approximation to the original is just amazing - I don't how you and your artists do it - keep up the great work !!! I'm sure that when my "custom" work arrives later this week it will be of the highest quality. Expect another glowing review to be forthcoming ! And now .... happily off to the framers ! Warm Regard's John.
I am totally impressed! The artist did a wonderful job. It is an exact match. The packaging was excellent and the shipping was really quick once it was ready to go. Totally satisfied. I took it to get framed the same day I received it. Would buy from them again and intend to start searching for another project.
I am blown away with the quality of my painting! I didn't think it was possible, but I like it even better than the original! I am extremely pleased! I actually ordered the same thing from a competitor and they didn't even come close to the original. Stick with 1st Art Gallery and you won't be disappointed!
Owning a small gallery in Bucharest Romania I've been working with 1st Art Gallery for more than ten years. They've been providing my company original paintings from photographs and reproduction paintings of famous paintings. The paintings are always of very high quality and sell quicker than the works of other companies which is why I've been using them exclusively for several years now. The customer service is always helpful as they help me select the most popular paintings which are more likely to be sold. I've been extremely happy with their service and if there is ever any issue it is always quickly and professionally handled. I would recommend any gallery owner, wholesaler or art lover to use 1st art gallery with no hesitation and we are proud do be selling their paintings in Bucharest Romania, the Paris of east.
I've been using 1st Art Gallery for several months now as we've recently moved into a new home. All the paintings that we've received, from custom portraits to reproductions of well-known masterpieces, are 10/10! Before commissioning 1st Art Gallery for 20+ paintings we've made several "test orders" from several other companies and let me tell you - those paintings were horrendous. 1st Art Gallery stands out from the rest as not only that the paintings are beautiful but you can also see and feel how superior the materials that they use are. Better quality canvas, thick rich colors, the paintings are better packed and delivered much faster as well. Their customer service is very helpful and always quick to answer any question we have. In short - do not hesitate! Consistent high quality and service. A+ !!!!
I've ordered a Rembrandt from them not so long ago. I was a bit worried if it gets here (our local delivery services are definitely not the best in the world), but finally it arrived safely :D When i first saw the product, my jaws dropped instantly. It was so realistic, so nice, it actually gave me goosebumps. I've made it framed and put on my wall. I thought that i'll prank my friends that its actually the original :D (which was stolen from Boston museum in the '90s :) As far as i know, the original wasn't yet found, so this would also provide a good base for the joke :) ) But beside the joking, i bravely can recommend them for anybody. They did an amazing job with a very-very realistic painting, such a good piece of work.
