In a world where it’s not always easy to find support during trying times, 7 Cups maintains a stable community of volunteers seeking to give people a safe and welcoming space to vent, share, or work through their emotions. I have found great joy in being a part of this community and helping to put some good in the world in the way that I best know how. Knowing that you helped even just one person really does brighten your day.

Seven cups for me is a place of huge welcome, where you can speak about your day, the good and the bas , without judgment. It's a rich blend of cultures and ages and experiences and it taps into a mission statement of creating a welcome for so many people who simply don't want to be feel alone. It's an environment catered towards mutuality, respect and it embraces everything that is unique in us whilst being a place that speaks for mental health and that's what we are lacking .

I have been suffering from Mental Health problems and childhood traumas, before my teens and had been on medication previously for nearly 15 years. At one point, something bad really happened, and I got the needed help. Afterwards, I felt that I needed more support, as mental health is not understood with my family members. I wanted to ease off my medications too, as I didn't want side effects to show up later in my body. So, I searched online, and found 7 Cups in July 2017. I have been an active member since, and have met several good members that had been a huge support to me. 7 Cups had been my only safe haven to share my stories and experiences with mental health, without the fear of being judged or misunderstood. I've even recommended it to my counsellors, family doctor, and close acquaintances about 7 Cups. The Community continues to grow and the people working behind it, is making it more resourceful annually with updates. It's not just the typical mental health topics, you can find many other aspects of day-to-day life situations. Topics on Relationships, Family, Hobbies, Creative Writing, etc. They have trained listeners that you can chat with one-on-one, and even pay for sessions with a certified professional. All of this is online. So, for those who do not have support from family or close friends, do come to 7 Cups and explore what they have to offer. Subscription is free, and you can make up a username to identify yourself. 7 Cups has been my go-to place since I became a member, and I've kept in touch with certain people over the past few years. They have become my support, 7 Cups have been the only place that understands my life situation and of which I feel comfortable enough to share my stories with. I will definitely continue to stay active with them, as I believe with mental health, we could never really leave it behind us. That it will forever be a part of our lives, but it makes a huge difference to have the support to help us cope with it, or to move forward with our lives.

I found 7 cups when I needed it the most. At 7 cups I've been guided to become the best part of me " a listener with an open heart because everyone deserves to be heard". Just like every other forum I've spoken to the good and the bad. That doesn't stop anyone who is focused and ready tot help others. I will recommend 7 cups to anyone who really wants to be heard and understood!

It was a really good experience, and I loved using it. It made me feel lighter. I loved my listener, KindHorizon, and I really appreciate how much he helped me. This was my first time using the service, and I like it so far. I have one thing to improve. While I was chatting, a pop-up message appeared that said something like, ‘Someone was there for you today... so someone can be there for the next person too.’ I don’t remember the exact wording, but it made me nervous, and I wasn’t sure whether I needed to end the chat. It would help if the message made clear that I can keep chatting for as long as I need, or if it appeared after the chat ended instead of in the middle of it.

7 Cups is the best place to be if you're in need of a friend, are feeling alone, struggling... This is where you can expect to be seen and heard no matter where you come from, what your past is, who you are. You hold the right to your anonymity and to your thoughts and feelings. Feel free to share as much or as little as you like, and you will always find someone there to listen and be with you through whatever you're going through. ❤‍🩹
