7 Cups is the only service of its kind, I am so impressed with everything you can do here. The app itself provides the services it advertises (connections with listeners, forums and chatroom access, self-paced activities), but if you go to the site, there is a whole world in it. You can volunteer for leadership roles, and there's an entire Academy program to grow your skills, as a listener, or a leader, and simply as a person. I have things I can put on my CV and experience I would never had gotten anywhere else. Thank you, 7 Cups!

My journey with 7 Cups began in 2023, and after being here for so long, I can honestly say that it has been much more than just an online platform for me. It has been a journey filled with learning, growth, meaningful connections, difficult moments, and memories that I’ll always carry with me. I started my journey as a Teen, and just a week after joining, I became a Listener as well. Experiencing 7 Cups from both sides gave me a completely different perspective. I got to understand what it feels like to need support and, later, what it feels like to be there for someone else. Both experiences taught me a lot about empathy, kindness, patience, and the importance of simply listening. As a member, I went through some genuinely difficult phases in my life, and there were people here who helped me through them more than they probably realize. Sometimes it was a Listener, sometimes another member, and sometimes a mentor. Even a simple conversation or a few kind words could make a difficult day feel a little easier. Some people may think they only had an ordinary conversation with me, but I remember those moments because they meant much more to me than they probably knew. Becoming a Listener allowed me to experience the other side of that connection. I met people from different backgrounds, heard their stories, and learned how meaningful it can be to simply give someone a safe space to talk. It helped me grow as a person and made me appreciate even more the people who had once been there for me. Over the years, I’ve met so many wonderful people members, Listeners, and mentors. Some supported me, some taught me something, and some simply made my days better. Looking back, the people I met are probably the most meaningful part of my entire 7 Cups journey. After being here since 2023, I can say that my experience has had both good and difficult moments, but overall, it has been incredibly meaningful to me. I’m grateful for the people who supported me during difficult phases of my life, for the people who trusted me with their stories, and for all the experiences that helped me grow. Some of these people may never know how much they meant to me, but I genuinely appreciate them. 7 Cups hasn't been always perfect, but it has been real, and when I look back at my journey, I feel grateful that I joined because now when I sit somewhere alone i don't have to care about having someone or not because i know always have 7 cups with me. The people I met and the connections I made are what I’ll remember most.

I've been a volunteer listener for a short time and am working on the Community Track Internship, which has been incredibly informative and great for people wanting to gain experience in peer mentoring. I want to mostly highlight the FREE academy courses offered through 7 Cups. There are many, but I recently completed the Time Management and Community Building courses. They were very helpful and included lots of guiding resources. 5/5!

I've had a great time volunteering as a listener on 7 Cups. The community is very supportive and I love being a part of it.

7 cups is a place where you can be freely yourself and share your problems with the listeners who don't judge you or make you feel uncomfortable. Being a volunteer there I've had the opportunity to make people feel a little bit better. The internship program also helped me gain experience about how a community works.

I’ve been volunteering at 7 Cups for several months and I have loved my experience so far. I’ve participated in their Academy programs and it’s been very helpful in advancing my knowledge and skills to help others. I’m currently training for my CPSS certification and the knowledge offered by 7 Cups has drastically helped me prepare for this. They offer a lot of different Academy programs to choose from and they all come with certificates and mentoring to guide us through the courses. The best thing about it is that it’s all free training! Everyone I’ve interacted with has been very helpful and inviting. 7 Cups is an excellent place to get training, knowledge and experience on your own schedule while also helping others.
